Hell yes its worth fixing i have a 20 ga . Marlin model 44 and i would not take 500.00 dollars for it.The Marlin model 44 in 20 gauge only was made from 1923-1935.It should be noted that in 1998 Marlin made a statement that all exposed hammer models along with the hammer less models(which you have) should not be fired due to there age and that system failures can and will occur.While a repair to your shotgun is possible,just be advised that these shotguns will probably only handle low brass shells due to age,and condition.

Revelation was a "store" brand used by Western Auto for guns sold by them, but made by others- usually Savage, Marlin and Mossberg. Find the model number from your rifle, and go to the website for gunpartscorp. Under the "company forum", on the left side, scroll down to "cross reference". Find the model number under Western Auto, and see what the original make and model was. Then contact that company, and request a manual.

Value depends heavily on condition.The 336 Octagon is a desirable 336 variation for Marlin collectors, as it was only manufactured in 1973 and only 2,414 rifles were made.The 27th Edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values (2006) lists the value of a 336 Octagon in 100% condition at $500 - values have gone up since then, but not drastically. A September, 2010 auction on Gunbroker with a starting bid price of $999.00 got no bidders at all, but a 336 Octagon in good condition sold for $699.00 online in Cabela's GunLibrary apprtoximately 2 years ago.

That really depends on the condition. Take it to a gunsmith or appraiser or go to auctionarms.com to get an idea of what they are selling for.

clear the weapon.remove the upper and lower forestock retainer ring . remove large forestock retainer screw located forward of the trigger housing. remove trigger housing screws the screw to the rear of the trigger shroud will release thew upper and lower reciever. the upper and lower are held together by 2 small screws to the rear ansd a large 2 sided screw forward. two flatblade screwdrivers must be used here. once they are removed the upper and lower can be seperated. be very careful with the lower if you pop the spring youll have to figure out how to reset it.

Your rifle should be chambered for .22 Magnum. As such, the chamber is too long and too big for .22 Long Rifle and, if the shell will fire, the case will usually split. Not recommended.

Ranger shotguns were made by the Stevens Savage company. These shotguns generally bring a price of $300 to $400 in good shape.

this rifle is chambered in .22magnum.you can get thes rounds anywhere ammo is sold.DO NOT LOAD .22 SHORT,LONG,OR LONG RIFLE!these will not seat properly and will not eject properly.just as a tip:don't sell this rifle.you have a wonderful machine,take care of it and it will serve you well.also,clean this rifle every time you shoot it and while its still hot.(cold carbon deposets cause exces wear)

Your Marlin model 336 RC(regular Carbine) will range in price from 250-350 dollars depending on overall condition,and a good bore.

There is no difference internal to the two rifles. The only difference is barrel length. Both have 14-round tubular magazines. The model 75C has a carbine length (~19") barrel. Model 60s produced when the 75C was in production have a rifle-length (22") barrel, but the current Model 60 has been shortened to 19", making it seemingly identical to the old 75C. My 75C from 1987 looks identical to the model 60 on the current Marlin website. its a gun.Your Marlin model 778 shotgun is a slide action shotgun chambered in 12ga.Magnum.It was available in barrel length,s from 20in.to 38inches.It weights 7 3/4lbs. and was discontinued in the year 1984.Yours was made by Marlin sometime between 1969-1984.

Maybe 2008? Wiki says calc probably Manuf year = 2100 - first 2 numerals, ie: 2100-92=2008, where 2100 = end of this century. Seems to make sense, as my Marlin 795 starts with 94 (ie: manuf year = 2006) which seems about right.
