you need to know the letter in front of the number if there is no letter then it was made after 1969. the letters start with C which is 1946 D is 1947 E is1948 about 1965 the letter change to AA from that point i would need to know what the letter is hope this helps by the way a 336 marlin with the letter C or D is real rare

Complete bolts are quite expensive and are available for the old or new model for around $60. Magazines are $25 and are available from Numrich gun parts as the Marlin model 80. I'd suggest going to a local gun show and trying to pick up a junker parts rifle to repair yours.

I'm not positive, but I have one that my father bought me new when I was about 13 years old, which would have been in 1962. Just did a complete series of YouTube videos on restoring it. Check out Magnum30fps channel if you're interested. Those rifles (pre-1968 gun laws) were not required to have serial numbers, so there are no numbers on the one I have. Hope that's helpful.

Slugs in Goose gun? Not a good idea to shoot Foster slugs in full choke, although it can be done safely, accuracy will suffer. That's Foster slugs only! Remington and Winchester.

It's better to have a screw-in choke system installed, then you can use an open choke tube for slugs. Try Johnny's chokes:

That would be a no on the Hyper ammo. Marlin specifically states in the manual NOT to use Hyper Velocity ammo in their semi-auto rifles. It's fine for the bolt action and lever action rimfires, but not in the semi-auto. The semi-auto Marlin rifles were designed to shoot High Velocity only and using Hyper can damage them.

There are a lot of reasons a Marlin or any other rimfire rifle might "jam", but we'll need a lot more information on the particular problem. Jamming could be anything from a failure to feed, extract, eject, stove piping or other problem. We just need more information.

For the record, my personal Model 60 doesn't jam and it has 10,000+ rounds through it since 2005. They're great little rifles if they're running as they should.

Imported by FI from the late 1960s to 1971. This was made in .22 LR, .22 magnum, .410 shotgun, and a 22/.410 over/under. Stock is somewhat fragile, being an aluminum alloy casting, barrel is steel. Interesting little rifle, shoots well.

regarding serial number 71232696. the last numbers in this series represents the year it was made,1996. It is a medium game,centerfire rifle. 6 shot tubular load rifle its capable of deadly force up to 300 yards. depending on the ammunition you use.

yes the Marlin 7000t was a target version that came with a laminate wood stock.The stock 7000 came only with synthetic stocks.

If your Revelation 150 is a tube fed semi-auto .22 rifle, it was likely made for Western Auto by the Marlin Company, and is a Marlin Model 49. Depending on the part you need, you may find it at gunpartscorp website, or check with a gunsmith.
