What is the difference between volute centrifugal pump and turbine centrifugal pump?
voloute convord the pressure into volicity and the mixtur of propallere and impeller is called turbine pump
What is volute centrifual pump?
The volute of a centrifugal pump is the tank that holds the liquid being pumped. The centrifugal pump is a type of pump that uses a swirling motion to pump liquid.
They height y of the projectile is given by the function y = vosin(0)t + 1/2gt2, where vo is the initial velocity of the projectile, 0 is the firing angle, t is the time, and g is the acceleration of gravity (-9.81m/s2). The range x of the projectile is given by the function x = vocos(0)t. Rearranging this last equation for time yeilds t = x/(vocos(0)); this will give us the length of time the projectile takes to reach the target. Substituting this into the first equation yeilds:
y = vosin(0)[x/(vocos(0))] + 1/2g[x/(vocos(0))]2
this can be simplified further but it is not necessary to do so; plugging it the x and y coordinates, the initial velocity, and the acceleration of gravity, you should be able to solve for 0, which is now the only unknown.
What is temperature monitoring?
Temperature monitoring refers to the process of observing an recording temperature over a specific period. This is commonly done using the temperature data logger.
What is the difference between impeller and propeller vanes?
An impeller is a rotor inside a pump through which the liquid flows to create a pressure gradient.
A propeller is used to propel a vessel.
In pump impeller liquid moves i.e. pump is stationary. In a vessel propeller the vessel moves through a liquid or gas!

Net Positive Suction Head
The mathematical symbol for shear is the greek letter tau - which is similar to the English letter "t". Shear stress is given in Pascals or Megapascals, as this denotes pressure - force over an area - which then leads to the applied shearing load.
What are Inorganic elements of biological materials?
Inorganic elements of biological materials are components that are not naturally produced. This is often used to reference molecules in chemistry that are synthetic or man made.
What is a damper in ac terminology?
A damper is usually a piece of metal that is installed in a duct to allow the airflow to be restricted. This lets the user open or close the restriction to adjust the amount of air getting through. There is often a metal tab handle outside the duct to rotate the damper inside the duct. The handle is parallel to the restriction plate, so the least resistance is when the handle is parallel to the duct itself. To restrict the airflow, turn the handle so that it is up to 90 degrees off from the direction of the duct.
What is the angle subtended by an arc of a circle equal in length to the radius of that circle?
The answer does not match. It is called a Radianthat is used in Trigonometry, a special branch of mathematics which deals with study of triangles. "Tri" means three and "gono" means angle and "metry" means measure) . If there is an angle at the center of circle subtended by the arc whose length is equal to the radius, then the angle at the center is called 1 Radian.
Extending the math out in order to determine the number of degrees in one radian, this is what we have. C = 2(pi)r; the length of the circumference is 2(pi) times the radius. This means that the number of radii in the circumference is 2(pi); there are 2(pi) radii in the circumference. There are 360 degrees in a circle, so the number of degrees in an angle subtended by an arc one radius long would be 360/2(pi), or about 57.3 degrees.
a dynamo meters is a device used for measuring force, moment of force or power.
the power produced by an engine, motor or other rotating prime mover can be calculated by simultaneously measuring torque androtational speed (RPM).
What is the Difference between noble and precious metals?
Noble metals and precious metals can be the same thing. Noble metals are known for their usefulness in the industrial fields. They resist corrosion and oxidation. Precious metals fit this description, but are also aesthetically appealing and desirable, giving them value outside the manufacturing realm.
What are the advantages of using a duplex milling machine?
These machines can rough machine both sides, at the same time, of a blank to "near finish" or "finish size" on the thickness of a blank. This cuts the time spent finish machining on a more expensive CNC machining center to perform the more complex machining characteristics of the part. Unfortunately, this increases handling time, setup time, and adds another move and probably another storage point to the process.
Why was the power loom invented?
to make it easier to make fabric, would you like to sit around all day and weave each individual thread into a SMALL square of fabric?
How does air lock affect a hydrostatic test?
Air can cause a very unsafe rise in pressure as air can be compressed as opposed to water thus the rational for a T&P valve.
How much weight can a two by four support?
A two by four can support a load up to 400 pounds. The length of a two by four will change the weight it can support.
What formulas was in October Sky?
Homer used the formula s=1/2at^2 where s is the altitude, a is the gravitational acceleration constant or 32 and t is the time it took for the rocket to land on its descending point.
They used 14 seconds--this datum was taken from AUK 12's records since AUK 13 and AUK 12's record are almost the same.
and then they solve it to know the altitude.
Once you know the altitude--you can now solve for the distance to locate the rocket's DESCENDING POINT... or simply where the rocket fall. Use trigonometry in solving it given that you have 90 degrees.
Who is one of the best auto mechanics in the world?
Depends really, some people know more then others in a specific subject, whilst others know more then other people in a certain genre.
I need a spectacle blind flange rating chart is there one?
A few months ago, I was asking the same question. I did a search online to see if I could find a pressure rating chart and came across the Sweco Fab website. The fact of the matter is that the charts on the Sweco Fab are a little confusing and do not provide accurate information. I tried to contact Sweco Fab to get more information and asked if they could send me a pressure rating chart. They never responded to my request.
There are a lot of variables that go into determining the pressure rating of a spectacle blind. Size of pipe, flange size, type of material, corrosion resistance, thickness of blind, etc. Your best bet is to manually calculate the pressure rating by using equation (15) in section 304.5.3 found in the ASME B31.3-2002 specification. If you are using a standard thickness you can solve for pressure. I would recommend using the standard thicknesses that can be found in ASME B16.48-2005 (Line Blinds) specifications.
If you don't have the time, ability, or resources to figure out the pressure ratings yourself, you can also contact manufacturers of spectacle blinds and request the information. I didn't have any luck with Sweco Fab, Inc. but I'm sure there are manufactures out there that are willing to help.
