I am on methadone and have been for years. I am also taking college courses, one being Psych Substance Abuse and Addiction. The answer is until the methadone is out of your system. It may take days, weeks, or months. For me, it would take months, but if you took methadone but you're not used to taking it, probably a few days or so. Methadone does block the effects of heroin, which is why a lot of people use the methadone maintenance treatment programs. If I were to try to use heroin tomorrow, it would just be a waste of time and money because I wouldn't even feel it, and I would hella pissed, which is the purpose of it blocking the heroin. The withdrawal from methadone can take weeks or months, and it's more intense than heroin.

The symptoms of meth use will vary from person to person depending upon a number of different factors, but swelling is possible.

Most highly noted physicians use the formula X-1/2X=1/2X, then 1/2X+1/4X=3/4X. For example: You are started on a program that allows you 10-10mg tablets per day (100 mg). Each month your dose will be decreased by 1-4 tablets (Month 1=300, month 2=296-299, etc.) You would continue this until you reach the 1/2X mark, which in this case is 5-10 mg tablets per day (150 tablets per month). There is no such thing as brown methadone.. At least not in the USA. If you got a brown pill, it is not methadone. Methadone comes in 2 colors in pill form. White and orange(well its like a peach-ish, pinkish, orangish color LOL). And in liquid form you will usually only see clear, red, pink, purple, or green. No brown. I hope your not talking about heroin.

YES! If you take methadone pill or liquid, It will show up as methadone in your urine drug test or in a blood drug test. Its still methadone either way you take it.

You can only fail a drug test for methadone if they are testing for methadone. Methadone does not come up as an opiate since there are no opiates in methadone,

The highest MG of methadone that I have seen people successfully walk off and stay off methadone is around 15mg's. Most people I talk to will recommend just going all the way down to 1mg and avoid any discomfort. But I have seen a few people walk off between 20-30mg's and have gotten so sick that they had to some back. So I would recommend around 10mg's.

This ? gets tricky. At most clinics where i live (PA) they start you out at 20-30 mgs and then you can go up as you please from there. I take 135 mgs a day for the same reason. It is up to you to decide if you feel okay on the 90 mgs, or if you need more than that to feel okay during the day. Talk to someone at the clinic you get it from, at least, i hope you are getting it from a clinic, because if you are getting it from a dealer, 90 mgs of methadone will more than likely kill you. NO...I've been on suboxone for two years. It's ok, but when you cheat and try and take painkillers, etc it has no effect. This stuff trully blocks it. I was even in the hospital and had a shoot of morphine and it barley made a dent. (broke my nose)

I've been thinking of switching to methadone-becuase I just can't stop fighting the cravings. So, my answer is no, suboxone does nothing to make you feel any different.

worst than that... bronchitis, cronic bronchitis or even lung cancer... repair it as soon as posible... I had the same problem and now i have a bronchitis produces by those fumes plus the winter cold... but was mostly agravated by the exhaust fumes, which are very toxic.
