Methadone

I am Prescribed 200mg a day but there is a patient at my pain clinic that gets 370mg a day!!!! thats over a 1000 methadone 10's a month! I ask the pharmacist what the max dose was and he said there isnt one!!!!! =) so there is NO MAX legal dose!

Only take Morphine as instructed IF it is prescribed to you. It is very dangerous in high doses.

If you are in a methadone program, fentanyl is one drug that doesn't show per say. If you wear it, eat it, or smoke it, it won't show up as a regular opiate as it is synthetic based and for whatever reason is confused with alcohol. That's why they always ask you when you pee if you have had anything to drink - the fentanyl and alcohol show as the same. So.... if you had reported that you didn't have anything to drink that day they will then classify it as a dirty sample. If you have taken fentanyl just make sure you tell them you had a couple of drinks that day or late the night before. From experience, you will show as clean.

No it is not, in fact methadone makes you gain weight. It gives you major sugar cravings and if you can't fight them you gain weight. Good news is.... If you come off of methadone you will lose almost if not all the weight you gained within a year or so.

You could try a drug program, but many people get help from programs that use the medicines methadone and buprenorphine which help with cravings and withdrawl symptoms.
