Then it comes in MorphineXR, which is released over a 24 hour period. MorphineXR comes in 30mg,60mg, and 120mg. Brand names for MorphineSR are Kadian, and MScontin. MScontin comes in gerneric, kadian does not. MorphineXR only comes in the brandname, which is Avinza. Note of caution Dosages of any form of morphine 60mg or above should only be used in people who have been on large amounts of opioid narcotics, or you have been told you are opioid tolerant.
