I was looking up the same question. Check out: http://www.collecting-coin.org/search Apparently, the value would depend on both silver content and whether or not worn/ circulated. Looks like it could range from about US $1.00 (10X exchange rate) up to around US $8.00 if "brilliant uncirculated." I supposedly have the peso John Huston gave to Humphrey Bogart in "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre." At least that's what the guy I got it from said, so I guess if they only did one take it might be worth more, unless Bogart kept messing up the scene so he could cadge more pesos.

Many of these coins are valued at a price close to $10 each. The exact price will depend upon the condition of each coin.

If it's a gold coin, then it depends on the size and date. Re-ask the question specifying all the wording on both sides of the coin. If it's not gold, it has very little value -- these are often found in dealers' miscellaneous foreign bins for 25 cents or less.

About 14 different countries use 'Peso' as their unit of currency and the value would depend on the age and condition, so this question is impossible to answer accurately. The 'Mil' in the value just means 1000.

If the note is from Mexico and from about 1985, then a mint condition note would be worth $2 to a banknote collector. A modern, 2002 or later, Mexican 1000 Peso note in any condition is worth $78 in any bank.

I think you need to double-check that date -- it should be 1982 -- Mexico was a republic in 1882. nothing. unless you find an odd collector who wants it for some reason. Mexico changed their currency out twice. second time was reaaaaaaaaaaallly messed up as i had $400 worth of Mexican currency wasnt aware of the change AND after they changed they would not accept the old currency
