The Xbox One is a home entertainment console released by Microsoft in 2013. It succeeds the Xbox 360 and competes with the Playstation 4 and Wii U as part of the eighth generation of video game consoles.
Yes, You need an internet connection because when you are on Xbox Live you are using the internet from your router.
If you want wireless, the Xbox 360 wireless adapter is the only way you can go wireless unless you buy a wireless bridge which is not easy at all to setup.
You can still use your ethernet jack to connect to the Internet if your Xbox is in a different room from your router. This video will explain the technology you can use to do this: http://images.bestbuy.com/BestBuy_US/en_US/images/abn/2009/com/pcon/netgear_pwrline/netgear_powerline.swf

Yes games can be played offline without a problem. If you are buying the console new though, you will have to connect the console to the internet for the initial setup.
Jason Voorhees is indeed a DLC character in Mortal Kombat X.
Yes it does. Without internet there is no way for it to send or receive messages or play online games.
If ur talking about how much the original xbox cost, then ebay sell the new ones for $50-90, I guess, check it out yourself(:

They are not going to make a new xbox. They have made a updated xbox S (Similar to PS3 Slim) that is slimmer, more efficent, and has a less chance of RROD than the Old Xbox. They have also made a motion gaming article called "Kinect". Kinect uses infra-red technology to track your body as the controller. It is already released and is $150 USD.
The Xbox One will be released in November 2013 for $499.99 in the US, £429.99 in the UK and 499.99 Euros in Europe. [1] In Australia, the Xbox One will cost $599.99 AU. [2]
Though the price hasn't been announced for Japan, the USD conversion to Yen is 49,336.91.
Xbox Live on Xbox One will continue to be a subscription service, but its price is unknown. [3]
The answer is yes. If, like me, you do not have a wireless adapter for Xbox 360, and use a laptop with a wifi or other Internet connection like a 3G mobile broadband dongle. then you will be able to go on Xbox live. It will be a lot slower so don't expect high speed gaming; expect just being able to go on Xbox live. :)
So here is how you can set up Xbox live access via your PC or laptop:
1. plug Ethernet lead into Xbox and laptop/PC
2. plug in dongle to USB port
3. (A) if using Windows XP, click start, connect to, click show all network connections, if you have more than one Ethernet port on your PC/laptop click on the one you are using with your xbox 360. then drag and select both your dial-up 3g mobile broadband connection and your Ethernet connection and right click, goto add to network bridge wait a few minutes, open up your 3g ISP software, click on connect, then once connected turn on your xbox 360 and hopefully you should sign into xbox live.
3. (B) Windows Vista is basically the same. Just go to network and sharing center and you should be able to bridge the connections by going on manage network devices.
3. (C) Windows 7... You cant bridge dongle and LAN only LAN and wifi sorry people with win 7.
yes you can use a dongle for xbox live
According to online reviews, Xbox One is not the best console. Many Xbox fans are actually going to stick to Xbox360 or switch to PS4.
