Sometimes, the login servers go down. You just have to be patient for them to come back up again. If the problem persists, you can contact Mojang for support.

Its all about the type of soil and the building structure is going to build on it.

If the site soil is not the type (i.e; like clay soil, the soil cannot having load bearing capacity etc.,) for constructing big buildings, its better to go for raft foundation. Because, this type of foundation spreads the load of building to overall area and if the foundations are constructing very near by each other means. In that time also, this foundation can be laid.

You can craft bone meal. Bone meal is especially useful for farming and dyes (for wool). You will get 3 bone meal from 1 bone, and if you wish to use them for farming, when you right click on a growing crop (i.e. wheat, pumpkin stem, melon stem, carrots, potatoes), the crop will fully grow. Note, for a pumpkin or melon, only the stem grows. However, it saves the time of waiting for the stem to grow. You can also use it to dye other dyes lighter. For example, put rose red dye in the crafting table with bone meal and you make pink.

In the related links below is the wiki article for more crafting and what you can do with bone meal.

When this happens it could be a number of things, either you could have a problem with the demo itself where you may not have activated your account or it has run out or it could be a java error. To fix the java error I recommend simply installing the latest version.

For cows you need wheat

For sheep you need wheat
