In what way don't they work? If sound doesn't come out of them, the sound files for the noteblocks may be missing from the game files. If you can't craft them, the recipe for the noteblocks may be missing.

You throw the eye of ender in the air and it floats to the closest stronghold. Then dig straight down and go through the stronghold to find the ender portal. Place an eye of ender in each spot, then the portal should turn on. Then just jump in.

There is no 'password' for Minecraft, in any version.

The password is user specific; each user makes their own password.

You either need to buy Minecraft and in doing so create a password, or play offline.

Note - it is illegal to have copies of Minecraft, but if you have lost your password, there should be a way to change it or find it on the Minecraft official website.

Minecraft is a full, legitimate game that millions of people enjoy. Minecraft is purchased from the Minecraft.net website, it is a one-time payment and there are no further costs at all, everything is free - further updates, and the many mods made by the community.

But there is still a need to be aware though, many sites will claim to sell cheap versions of Minecraft, it is these sites that are the scams, using Minecraft's name to perpetrate it. Minecraft is never legitimately sold through a third party, only use the official site, Minecraft.net.

Why,yes! It is possible. I bought minecraft and gave the password to my firend and we play at the same time. But im not sure what you mean by using it for your brothers, like, using it at one computer, or are your brothers distant?

there's a game called Roblox, but Minecraft is better

Yes, there is. You just need to explore the nether, and you will eventually find one.

Towns, like all other terrain in Minecraft, are randomly generated when a world is first created, or as you move beyond the edges of the original map causing more terrain to be generated. As towns are created randomly, the only way to find one is to explore.

As a general rule of thumb, towns seem to be generated in areas that are flatter, such as the plains and desert biomes.

You can't unless you're in multiplayer

You need a program that can open archives. The best free easy to use one is 7zip. Download and install it and right click on the rar file and go to 7zip in the menu and then click open as archive. Then drag and drop the files needed into you minecraft saves folder.

Unfortunately no, you cannot. Mods are only available for the PC version (and Pocket Edition if you really try to mod it). The closest thing to a mod in the XBOX 360 version would be the resource packs available for download.

I have heard that it is coming out May 8, 2012, May 9, 2012, or some time in December 2012. To pass the time, you can get an Indie game called Total Miner Forge. A bit like Minecraft, but not quite.

As long as the password and username are correct, you can access their account. Some of the time, other sites will only accept one internet source for their account to be accessed by (ex. facebook). But in this case, you can.
