No, Minecraft is not a franchise, it is a game. The company which develops Minecraft, Mojang, is a private limited company.

It depends how the server is set up. The owner of the server can change the size of the server to let more or less people join.

They only serve two purposes: You can craft them into emerald blocks and use them as decoration, or (the much better use for them) you can trade them with NPC villagers for various items. Different villagers will give you different things, from enchanted gear (but you have to also provide them with the gear to enchant) to bookshelves, and even bottles o' enchanting, which can only be gotten through villager trading or through creative mode.

There are two ways to do this, depending on which mode you're on.

If you're on singeplayer and have cheats enabled, you can type "/gamemode survival" (without quotation, including the slash) and you will be in creative.

If you're in multiplayer, you can change the game mode from survival to creative in the same manner as singeplayer, the only catch is you must be an op. An op is an operator of the server, or better known as an administrator or moderator.

If you press f3, the y: is the height or what is referred to as a level or layer. You can find gold from levels 2 - 29. There are about 8 gold blocks per chunk. A chunk consists of a 16 x 16 from 0 - 256 height of the world. You can also find what chunk you're in by pressing f3, and x and z will have (c) at the end. This is the chunk.

Simply click "Multiplayer" then do "direct connect" or "add server" and type in a server IP. From there, you can play with friends and family on a Minecraft server.

You shouldn't be able to, first off. But if you somehow smashed bedrock and all the portal blocks, you have to die to leave the End.

No it doesn't not even pc or ipod edition it is considered a myth in minecraft. I know this because i asked the same question.
