Name the material used for making ropes for rock climbing?

First off, there are static and dynamic ropes.

Static ropes do not stretch and are mostly used for rappelling, hauling, fixed lines, and probably some other stuff I do not know about. This is because none of these activities involve large forces - such as what would be created during a fall.

Dynamic ropes stretch, and are the main type of rope used for rock climbing. This is because they stretch to absorb the shock of the climbing rope. In fact, if I remember correctly, some rock climbing ropes can stretch to as much as 30% more than it's original length.

Dynamic ropes come in a wide range of diameters and can also be divided into three categories - single ropes, half ropes, and twin ropes. One would choose a certain diameter and type of rope based on the activity they plan on doing.

What is the fear of mountain climbing?

If you mean alpinism (hiking up snowy/rocky peaks) then the challenge is mostly about mental perseverance How much punishment are you willing to take in order to reach the peak?

If you mean rock climbing (scaling vertical faces) then the challenge is partially perseverence, but mostly lies in avoiding the following thought process:

"OhCrapOhCrapOhCrap.I'mGoingToFall.CantHoldOn.DeathIsImmanent."

Which is ridiculous. No on goes out without a rope and a belayer that they trust. But it still pops into your head on occasion.

Why can't you make a proper cup of tea on Mount Everest?

If you made the tea on top mt Everest the water used would have boiled at a lower temperature! Which would effect the taste of the tea and what molecules are extracted

"The best temperature for brewing tea depends on its type. Teas that have little or no oxidation period, such as a green or white tea, are best brewed at lower temperatures, between 65 and 85 °C (149 and 185 °F), while teas with longer oxidation periods should be brewed at higher temperatures around 100 °C (212 °F).[54] The higher temperatures are required to extract the large, complex, flavorful phenolic molecules found in fermented tea, although boiling the water reduces the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water."

Keeping in mind that oxidation and oxygen play a role in tea, "thinner" air on top mt Everest results in less oxygen present!
