You don't play boxing, BUT that was the sport Ali was in. He started boxing at the age of 12 in 1954, he won the Olympic Light Heavyweight Championship in 1960 in Rome and then turned Pro. He won the Heavyweight Championship of the World 3 times and retired for good at the end of 1981.

I think Joe Frazier, Michael Spinks, and Larry Holmes, he had a couple of other losses too but I don't know against who. Joe Frazier is the most significant one, because when Frazier fought him, Ali was still relatively deadly as a fighter. If the Ali who fought Lison the first time was 100%, the one who fought Frazier, was 85%, BUT, Ali's ringcraft due to his experience, was 120%, whereas the inexperienced Cassius Clay who faced Liston was all reflexes, no "old warrior" cunning at all. To Frazier's credit, a worldwide ancient proverb is in order here;

The first time was 2/1/1970. He had been suspended for not going to Vietnam but announced his retirement at that time so Joe Frazier and Jimmy Ellis could fight for the legitimate HW title.

The second time was several months following his regaining of the title vs Leon Spinks on June 27, 1979.

In 1980, he made an attempt at becoming HW Champion for the fourth time vs Larry Holmes, WBC Champion on 10/2/1980 but his corner would not allow him to come out after the 10th round(the only time Ali was 'stopped', called an 'RTD' but recorded as a TKO)

In December 11, 1981, he made one more comeback vs future champion Trevor Berbick (most remembered for his KO loss to Tyson years later). Ali was not competitive and retired for the final time.

He was diagnosed with Parkinson's in 1984.
