well you see i have hurt my neck and locked it up very badly that i was taken to a & e luckly i was ok.how i did it was i cannon balled in to a publice swimming pool and i could feel my neck muscle squeeze up and it started stinging . soon i cold not move my neck and ended up crying.it can be very pain full and the best thing for it is a ice pack and after apply a cream called deep freeze if your neck does not feel better after then try deep heat and let your muscles relaxe keep them warm and ever 20 minites mov your neck no matter how painful but dont move it to quikly or you will cry. it will take at last 2 weeks and stay of work if its to painful.if this does not work then go to a doctor about it.
p.s dont ever cannon ball into a swimming poool if you do not know what you are doing. trust me!
