You can use programs such as IMovie and Garage Band. In IMovie you can record things using a microphone and make music videos. In garage band you can record your song and add beats or sound effects to it. You can buy these programs online.
That it was an actual event but it wasn't based on a true story though.
Simply put... yes. Otherwise you have a melody of just one note, or a never ending scale (in the most simplistic terms). All (good) melodies need some form of balance in the direction of the melody to keep it interesting and to keep it in the range of the instrument.
[or am I over-analyzing this?]
An oratorio is a piece of music which is especially based on one or a series of incidents relating to a religion. Most of the oratorios were composed in Baroque period; Handel and J. S. Bach were among principal composers.
An oratorio is a large scale work for orchestra and a vocal choir and some examples are Messiah (Handel) and Christmas Oratorio (Bach).

Georges Guétary sang the song and performed the sequence as seen in "An American In Paris". I do not know if Astaire ever "covered" the song, but it was Guétary in the Minnelli production.
It's best to write a poem, or a letter to someone that either rhymes or it doesn't. There are no real rules to what you can put in a verse, just make sure the syllables fit and everything sounds right with the melody line.
A castrati Tenor was a Tenor who had been castrated so he would not go through puberty, and would therefore not experience a change in his voice. Repulsive though the practice may seem to us today, Castrati Tenors were highly prized in the Opera Houses of the Baroque period (approximately 1600 to 1750). Young boy sopranos were hand-picked for selection to be castrated. They could develop into castrati sopranos, altos or tenors, and as they grwe, they would develop more powerful lung power. The Castrati had an extensive vocal range and, because women were forbidden to perform on stage, they could play both masculine and feminine parts in the operas of the time.
In order from highest to lowest, the common clefs are:
Treble

2 flutes, 2 oboes, 2 clarinets (B-flat in movements 1-3, C in 4), 2 bassoons, contrabassoon, 2 horns (E-flat and C; E-flat in movements 1 and 3, C in 2 and 4), 2 trumpets in C, 3 trombones (alto, tenor and bass), timpani (C and G throughout), and the usual string section with first and second violins, violas, cellos and double basses. The contrabassoon and the trombones are only used in the final movement.
If it's high class, for men a tuxedo, and for women a long sparkly evening gown, best in dark but sutle shades (like black or navy blue), heels and a matching clutch wallet. If it's less formal, men can wear button down shirts with (possibly) a tie and dress pants. Women can wear slightly longer skirts than usual, matched with white or pastel blouses and anything from ballet flats to heels. In this case, a small hangbag or shoulder-purse is a must to accesorize. For a more elegant and sleek look, never wear dangly earrings; always studs!
There are many online music stores where sheet music is sold. In my experience as an oboist, more than a few have ways to search for oboe/ clarinet duets. My advice is to look for the grade of the piece; which is denoted by a number from 1 to 7. The lower the number, the lower the difficulty. Good luck!

Yes for a beginner, and no from an intermmediate. This piece challenges your comfort with scale transitioning and your ability to "sing the song".
Sonata form (also sonata-allegro form or first movement form) is a large-scale musical structureused widely since the middle of the 18th century (the early Classical period).
While it is typically used in the first movement of multi-movement pieces, it is sometimes used in subsequent movements as well-particularly the final movement. The teaching of sonata form in music theory rests on a standard definition and a series of hypotheses about the underlying reasons for the durability and variety of the form-a definition that arose in the second quarter of the 19th century.[4]There is little disagreement that on the largest level, the form consists of three main sections: an exposition, a development, and a recapitulation;[5]however, beneath this, sonata form is difficult to pin down in a single model.

Well you see, it's impossible to say which classical piece is the most popular. And there are not many classical songs more classical pieces. Songs have lyrics in them whilst pieces are just compositions. I prefer pieces by Mozart, Beethoven, Bach and Chopin.
Try listening to a variety and find out which classical song you like.
I like Turkish March by W.A Mozart, Fur Elise by Beethoven and Pachelbel's Canon in D. But ultimately it comes down to what you enjoy. In songs, there will never be a definite most popular as people have different tastes.
I know this doesn't answer your question and I'm sorry but ultimately this question is an open-ended one because everyone has their view.
