NBA player Malcolm Thomas played for San Diego State.
As of 2011 only the Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins.
But once a year the Buffalo Bills play in Canada at the
Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Bluejays.
QB Frankie Albert, left hander from Stanford. FB Norm Standlee from Stanford. That's all I remember.
The AFL-NFL merger occurred in 1970. At that time there were 10 teams in the AFL and 16 teams in the NFL. To even the number of teams among the two new conferences (AFC and NFC) the Pittsburgh Steelers, Baltimore Colts, and Cleveland Browns agreed to move from the NFL to the AFC so there could be 13 teams in each conference. There have been six new expansion teams enter the NFL since the merger:
1976 - Tampa Bay, Seattle
1995 - Carolina, Jacksonville
1996 - Baltimore (The owner of the team in Cleveland moved his players to his new franchise in Baltimore in 1996, leaving Cleveland's team in Cleveland, but officially inactive. In 1999 Cleveland was activated, but were technically not an expansion team).
2002 - Houston (The team previously in Houston moved to Tennessee in 1997).
EDIT: The owner of the Browns until the 1995 season desided he wanted to move to Baltimore. The NFL, Modell ( owner ) and the city of Cleveland came to the argeement. Modell could take his players with current contracts go Baltimore and would start the 31st NFL Franchise .( Jacksonville being 30th ) NFL/Cleveland kept Cleveland Browns history, championships , colors and overall heritage in Cleveland for a expansion team when the time was right by turning the Browns organzation into a holding company ( Cleveland NFL football LLC) until the next owner took over. The NFL considers both the 46-95 Browns & 99- present Browns the same team so the Baltimore Ravens are the 31st NFL Franchise.
FACT: Baltmore and Tampa Bay are the only post merger teams to win a Super Bowl.
He spells his name "Favre" (pronounce farve, rhymes with carve and Marve). He made an important cameo playing himself in There's Something About Mary, where the difficulty people have pronouncing his name became a joke. Ben Stiller hatltingly pronounced it farvrer. But he is real.
NFL player Colton Underwood played for Illinois State.
What is the steelers opening day record
It really depends on the type of defensive end , for example a 4-3 end is usually pretty quick (Freeney for the Colts ran a 4.4 40 in the combine) while an end in a 3-4 defensive scheme is usually bigger and not primarily used as a pass rusher, instead those teams use the outside linebackers to rush the qb and keep the DE to stop up the line or the run game (think Clay Matthews for the Packers or Demarcus Ware for the Cowboys). Overall a defensive end in pro football runs around a 4.85 and usually the faster ones are on a traditional 4-3 and the bigger ones in a 3-4 set.
== == Mark Moseley of the Redskins is the only place kicker to win the NFL MVP award. The year was 1982.
St. Louis --Denver-- Minnesota--Houston--Dallas--Arizona--San Diego--Oakland--San Francisco--Seattle--Kansas City that makes eleven
Spencer Paysinger plays for the New York Giants.
As of the 2013 draft, the Baltimore Ravens currently have 4 active former Crimson Tide players on their roster:
Terence Cody - Defensive Tackle
Courtney Upshaw - Linebacker
Chavis Williams - Linebacker
Rolando McClain - Linebacker (free agent pickup from Raiders)
The Ravens have a special connection to the University of Alabama; current General Manager and NFL Hall of Famer Ozzie Newsome is a former Crimson Tide standout Tight End, and has often been talked about as heading up the Alabama program. He always targets Alabama players during the draft and in free agency, and former Tide players know exactly what to expect from him when they join the Ravens organization.
Ozzie's response has always been "I"ve got a great job right here in Baltimore".
California: The Oakland Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, and San Diego Chargers.
I feel safe answering that Colts 3rd String Jared Lorenzen is the heaviest ever, but that's not backed by any facts
Actually, you're right. Jared Lorenzen is 6'3", 275lbs. Second is likely JaMarcus Russell, 6'6", 260lbs. 4lbs shy of what he was when he first entered the NFL.
Carolina just did it this past year taking Cam Newton in the first round after taking Jimmy Clausen in the 2nd round last year.....Carolina didn't have a first round pick in the 2010 draft so in essence it was pretty much the same value.
None there was an Afl league and the NFL league then came the whole split between them I would say both came out about the same time.
Dan Reeves.
Reeves was head coach of the Denver Broncos that lost Super Bowls XXI, XXII, and XXIV and the Atlanta Falcons that lost Super Bowl XXXIII, ironically, to the Denver Broncos.
While Reeves was 0-4 in Super Bowls as a head coach he was a running back for the Dallas Cowboys that won Super Bowl VI over the Miami Dolphins.
There has been many siblings in the NFL for example brothers Jamaal Lewis (RB) and Ray Lewis (LB) or twins Tiki Barber (RB) and Ronde Barber (CB) or cousins Aaron Brooks (QB) and Michael Vick (QB).
No, he has never won a super bowl ring. He has only been to the playoffs 4 times and he has only won 1 playoff game. That game was against the Baltimore Ravens; the score was 28-0.

Actually your wrong and right. Jim Brown and the Cleveland Browns won the 1964 NFL Championship which at that time was the equivalent to the Superbowl at that time. The Superbowl was not created until 1967 which featured the Green Bay Packers, and the Kansas City Chiefs. By the way I own Jim Browns 1964 Championship ring.
ABC no longer broadcasts NFL games. ESPN (owned by ABC's parent company, Disney) took over Monday Night Football in 2006.
The Super Bowl wouldn't be broadcast on cable, so it's up to FOX/CBS/NBC to broadcast the game!
