How do you make your Nerf gun shoot harder?
Step 1: Unscrew ALL screws (if recon, pull back pump reactor, there are 2 screws.)
Step 2: Take out AR (Air restrictor)
Step 3: Get a drill, Drill out the air restrictor. (Until you can see clear through the AR)
Step 4: Re-asemble insides.
Step 5: Re-screw.
your gun should now shoot 10-20 feet further
and should now pretty much hurt somebody

Can you buy good Nerf guns for 20?
If you want to use streamlined darts, go for the recon. It's $20, can be customized with parts from every other cs (clip system) gun and most mission kits, and shoots with fairly decent range
For micro darts (the ones with suction cups on them) get a maverick. It's only $10, has a 6-dart rotating barrel, and is a classic piece of any Nerf arsenal.

Hold down the trigger while you hold the gun, and you use the handle up front, pump it really fast and keep pumping it and your gun will just keep shooting.

Where do you insert the batteries on the Nerf Recon cs-6?
you only put batteries in the tactical light, you will need a screwdriver.
any dart gun has to have some kind of power to shoot the dart. this power comes either from springs or compressed air.
with springs, when you cock back the gun it pulls back whats called a plunger. once you pull the trigger, the plunger is released and pushes air out of the gun, thus shooting the dart.
with a compressed air gun, a pump is used to build up PSI (pounds per square ince) in an air tank. once its full, pulling the trigger releases a strong berst of air that propells the dart
How do you repair a Nerf n-strike rapid fire as-20?
I don't know how you fix a broken one but I do have an idea on how one can break. The AS-20 is a gun with a pump and uses pressurized air. The two most common ones are a breakage with the pump. The pump is long and fragile when pulled out all the way. This means that a lot of the time kids will either pull the pump too hard out or just end up breaking it some other way making the pump loose and no longer pumping the gun. The other way is over-pumping it. I've noticed that this happens very frequently. What happens is when you over-pump it the air tank breaks over a period of time if you keep doing it. It says you should pump it 30-35 times on the box but some of these guns can fire all of the darts with just twenty pumps. Try 20 to start off, see if it fires all of the darts, and if it doesn't shoot all of the darts, increase the pumps by five over and over until it fires all darts. Then remember to only pump it that many times.
I've had both of these problems the AS-20s I've gotten. First some younger kids came over and broke the pump. Then I bought one that just didn't work from the start seemingly because it had been over-pumped in the past somehow. So i returned that one and got another one that worked at first, but quickly broke like the last one, probably because I pumped it fifty times. After not using it for a few days it was working again so I started testing it more, pumped it forty times, and it broke the same way. I went online to see how to fix it, found out the information I'm giving right now, went over to this sight, saw no answers, and decided to type this. I now know not to over-pump it and if mine starts working again I will make sure to not to do that to it again.

Yes and no....if you want to you can use it manually by cocking it and firing once per manual reload. However, to use the fully automatic mode you must use batteries.

Usually I'm told that its farthest shot is 32-35 feet could be more I think personally that it can shoot up to 40 but I would say about 37 feet

NERF has no spacific meaning to it, its just a brand of a toy line developed by Hasbro. I guess if you want a meaning it could refer to small foam dart shooting guns

this gun is most likely not to come out there are 3 guns that are coming out in 09 as far as i know the Nerf raider cs-6 that will come out in July or June stampede is still unknown and the spartan will come out in July to September

That Post Is Technically wrong, the Spartan NCS-12 Nerf Gun was not released in the united states but was released in China, i have yet to find out how to buy one without making an actual trip to China, but if i find out i will let you know, happy hunting ^^
