In April 1979, the channel re-launched itself declaring its name "Nickelodeon" and declaring its 1979 year as its official launch year. It has aired popular kids and teen shows such as "You Can't Do That On Television," "All That" and "The Secret World of Alex Mack." It also airs its annual Awards show which is now called the "Kids' Choice Awards."
