i have had the gameboy advance before and i don't think it has a lot of light and since i liked to play at night in the dark i bought a light that you connect to the place that the charger goes but if you get the light you need to charge the gameboy advance before you use the light because the light drains the power a bit

You won't get much for it unless its still sealed and never used.

Remove the security screw from the back of the cartridge using a 3.88mm bit. If you would like to save some cash, simply get the back end of a bic pen soft with a lighter and push it onto the head of the screw and hold it extremely still for about a minute. After the minute has passed, firmly hold the pen down onto the screw and turn it. This might take a few tries.

The tool is actually called a 3.8mm Gamebit 4.5mm Gamebits. For this tutorial I would suggest buying the 3.8 mm gamebit. So the 3.8mm is the same thing as the 3.88mm.

Once the cartridge is open, you will quickly find the battery facing you. It is soldered to two small metal connectors. You will have to carefully break the soldering points by whatever method you choose. Once you have removed the battery, hold on to the dead one so you can go out and match it to a new one at a store.

When you have a new battery, simply place it between the two connectors in the same fashion the old battery was. To secure the connection, wrap electrical tape around the battery and the two connectors. Try to make the connection very tight, or you may lose data later on.

When done securing the new battery in place, replace the casing of the game and re-insert the security screw. If you have tightly connected the new battery, you can expect the game to save for at least another 4 years.

It depends what kind you want really. I like the gameboy advance SP the best, as its pocket size, bright and comfortable.

The gameboy micro is very nice and small, but a very tiny but bright screen.

The gameboy advacne has the biggest but worst screen, but is comfortable all the same.

Then there is the ds, that is actually a gameboy and a ds, nice screen, bright, big.

Overall, i would say the gameboy advance SP.
