Splatoon is a game where you can play a turf war with two for player teams. That's not all. No, the wii is a horrible console compared to the PS3. With the new move support a ps3 is the exact same thing as a wii, except it can go to the z plane. (distance from tv) Meaning it's alot more precise than the wii. Also, it's got the best graphics in the market, compared to the worst. Also every single 3rd party game isn't crap.

Whoever answered the question above can't use logic. The PS3 costs like $500 and its games are too expensive. Also the Wii isn't only for kids, it's for anybody. Also the PlayStation move forces you to calibrate too much. Graphics have absolutely nothing to do with gameplay. The PS3's games are pretty much all rated M for Mature because Sony can't use their freaking minds and say that there are more kids than 17-year-olds on this planet.

Between my boyfriend and I we have every current generation console. It depends what your looking for. PS3 is more powerful, better graphics, and BluRay compatible. Wii offers a newer outlook on controls. Plus PS3 is HD compatible, where as wii currently is not. My personal answer for this question is PS3.
