Nintendogs is a game created by Nintendo where players can care and raise virtual puppies, train it with voice commands and enter it in three different types of competitions. There are 20 different dog breeds in Nintendogs, with 6 breeds available at the beginning, and the rest can be unlocked as you play the game. How can you tell how old your dog is on Nintendogs?
You can't. Nintendogs remain as puppies forever and never age. You can, however, see the number of time you've spent with your dog.
How do you get the firefighter hat on Nintendogs chihuahua and friends?
There is no certain time when you get the fireman's hat, it is randomly found inside of a present. You can get presents by taking your dog for a walk, or by letting your dog run away for awhile.

If you want a fireman's hat on nintendogs, you must follow these steps:
1. Stay at home with your doss
2. listen in the background for a fire brigade siren - that's your cue!
3. Take a dog for a walk, preferably the one that ca walk the longest; while walking, try to pick up as many "?" boxes as you can.
4. While in this process, try having your dog wearing the lucky collar, or having the cover clock set; these will increase your chances of getting a fireman's hat. If you don't have a lucky collar, try wearing something red.
5. Pick up the question mark boxes and hope for the best!
NOTE: Don't be disappointed if you do these things and don't get one. It's not guaranteed to get you one, but it sharply raises your chances!
P.S. You will NOT find a firemans hat if you do all these things but do NOT hear the brigade siren; Fireman's hats are very rare.
What are some cheats for Nintendogs?
To restart in a contest when you think that you are about to lose and it is your third turn of the day it is as easy as this: just turn off your DS and do the contest again.
Time Cheat
Time goes very slow in Nintendogs. So, if you want to speed it up save the game then turn off your DS and remove the game. Then go to the options menu and click on the clock. Then, change the time to 23:59 and wait one minute. Once you've changed the internal system clock, shut off power again, then start up and load the game. Then you can do the contests again without waiting a day!
Note: problems have been reported with this code, it may not work for everybody.
Unlimited Walks
Here's how to be able to walk you dog without having to wait a half hour and also get hordes of items. For this trick you need: At least 2 accessory items -Draw your walk path to any park and back passing as many "?" areas as you can. -Start your walk, hitting the "?" areas and getting items. -Once you make it to the park, change the accessory that your dog is wearing. The game will auto save. -Now after the save is complete, shutdown your DS. Turn it back on and you will have all items that you collected and you will also be able to take your dog for another walk.
Real Way to Fast-Forward Time
First go to the options menu in the starting screen of your Nintendo DS. Go to the 2nd square, this is the time settings, after that go to the very top option which is
the calender, set the date back one day (2 days is recommended), then go back to the options again and this time pick the clock and set the time to 23:59 (make sure it isn't the alarm!) then exit the settings and wait for the "Settings have been saved" message, now turn off the DS quickly and turn it back on and load Nintendogs, now wait 1 minute and now you can do more contests and learn more tricks without waiting a day.

How do you delete your game in Nintendogs?
To completely delete your game on Nintendogs, you must give up all of your dogs to the kennel, and then change your name, gender, and other things on your trainer page. (You can keep your identity if you like)
How do you teach your dog tricks in Nintendogs?
Sit down ---stroke down wards on the dogs forhead, or neck
Lie down ---after sitting, stroke down on forhead again
Play dead/lay on side--once lying down, stroke sideways.
Roll Over --once playing dead, stroke sideways again
Paw/hand shake ((Standing, Sitting, Laying)) lift up a paw. Can use either paw, and can be in either sitting, standing, or lying position.
Beg --make them stand up, then stroke upwards from nose to forhead. You're dog has to be very loyal to you, and not all actually do this.
Jump-- when they wave their buts in the air, press the upper corner, and they'll either jump or go away.
Spin-- grap a tail and wag it a bit, they'll sneeze and try to catch their tail. Can be done left or right.
Backflip: Get them to sit, then tell them to jump. They'll need to be loyal, well fed/watered to do this.
Frontflip Get them to roll over and tell them to jump. They'll need to be loyal and well fed/watered
Break-Dance--get them to roll over, then spin. Loyalty and good care needed
Stand--get them to beg, then lift their paw real high, and they'll stand on two legs!
Bunny Hop-- get them to stand, then jump.

Only with certain breeds (Labs, Shiba Inus, and Poodles). You need to have the female pooch as one of the mentioned breeds, the male doesn't matter. The two dogs must be friendly with each other, in other words, no chasing and no barking at each other. Then you must have the chosen dogs alone the entire time and obviously they must be male and female. Then you give them both dry food and give the female or both dogs milk and save your game then turn off your DS. Repeat this over the span of a few days and eventually you will notice your female getting fatter. After about four days you will get onto your game and see a puppy and there you go!
How do you get Jack Russell in Nintendogs?
If you want to find the jack Russel book here's what you do. These directions are mandatory. first you need to feed your oldest dog natural dog food in a bag and then give your oldest dog millkk to drink. Next you need to give your oldest dog a bath until it says someone looks beautiful. Then brush your oldest dog until it says someone looks beautiful. if it doesn't that's fine. The next set of directions are optional sorf-of. Second put one of these collars on your dog, Japanese collar, dot coller, camo coller, or lucky coller. the one that worked for me was the camo coller. now the third set of directions follow carefully. You need to take your oldest dog for a walk try to hit every ? box that you can. the more you hit the better chance you have. go near the park for the jack Russel book. And to find the fireman hat do the same things except go near the ocean to find it. as you know the jack russel book its ultra rare and I have never found one sadly but im ganna help you find one.
option 1.feed your dog and bathe it then fuss it (stroke it) and make your dog feels happy then go on a walk but you wont find it the first time it takes a long time,if this doesnt work then try something else.
option 2.make your dog be very hungry and thirsty (and dirty if you like) then go on loads of walks,if this doesnt work try something else.
option 3.put on the lucky collar and use the clover clock and walk your dog,after a few weeks or months you should get it (but make sure you keep feeding your dog,fuss it alot and enter contests and win) if this doesnt work try sonthing else.

Luckys sad story
one day when I wanted to play on my nintendogs to play with lucky I found out I had lost the game.
when I had lost him some nights I cryed,thinking how sad he must be being seperated from me.
I lost lucky for months as he walked around waiting for me to go to him.
but now I have lucky back (I found him a long time ago because I lost the ds with the game in it but months later I lost him my sister found the ds with the game inside) when I got the game out and found out it was my nintendogs game that I lost I said "NINTENDOGIES" and I played it straight away and when I did I said "lucky I found you" and I took him on lots of walks and fed him and I still play with him now.

Well you can't get codes, but I kow a PERFECT cheat!
If you go on a walk and you get a piggy bank or a vase, drop it on your floor in your nintendog's house, but before you do that cheat how much money you've got. Then drop it, look at the money now, you've more money!

You can't. You can only buy the breeds that are available from the kennel.
There is a LOT of stuff on the internet about how to breed the Nintendogs, but none of it is true.
- The Nintendogs Customer Support said that the dogs are puppies and stay puppies forever.
- Puppies do not breed.
- It simply isn't in the game's programming for the dogs to breed.Therefore, It's impossible.
- If you see videos or pictures of small dogs and the maker claims they're the puppy they got through "breeding", they are lying. The dogs are made smaller or bigger using cheat codes.

How do you get a chihuahua on Nintendogs lab and friends?
1. Buy two puppies of the same breed. Make sure one is female, one male. *NOTE* They DO NOT have to be the same color and the color of the puppy will most likely be the color of the male.
2. Try to pick puppies with sweet personalities so they don't fight.
3. Feed only natural dog food OR dry food. Natural (in my opinion) works better. Only give them milk too.
4. Do not take the female out on walks, to contests, or play/train her. Same with the male. Try to keep them as inactive as possible.
5. *OPTIONAL* If you have a rose or two put them on each puppy. If you only have one put it on the female.
6.******IMPORTANT****** GO ON EVERY 2 OR 3 DAYS TO FEED AND WATER THEM AND ONLY THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!
