When you get it a cut it tears capillaries and veins under your skin because ur skin is only 3 layers thick u will usually tear a vessel every time you get a cut, since your blood moves as a certain pressure it will leak out, think of it as a leaky toilet pipe every time you flush water leaks out of the pipe because of the pressure its moving.
You stop bleeding because platelets in your blood rush the cut and start releasing enzymes and other chemicals to seal the wound.
How likely are you to break your nose playing rugby?
Very likely. Cuts to eye areas, cuts to the bridge of the nose, breaks to the nose tissue and bone and dislocations and breaks to fingers are amongst the higher injury events in the game. This is because the game is a full contact sport.

All I know is 1 reason.
Maybe if you have 2 or more gerbils maybe one of the gerbils scratched the other one......My brothers gerbil did that to mine all the time.
I hope I helped you!
There are three main reasons:
1. Allergies- your gerbil may be allergic to the bedding you use (especially if it is sawdust or man made. But this is if the whole nose is really red and sore.
2. Washing- If it bleeds just a little bit, this is most likely caused by them scratching with their claws if they are sharp when they wash themselves.
3. Fighting- If you see your gerbils fighting, they may be scratching each other, but only if it is obvious.
Number two is most likely, so don't worry, your gerbil will almost certainly be fine
Hope it helped
Does nasal snuff cause nose bleed if over used?
I, myself, am a heavy nasal snuffer. The only time my nose has ever bled from it, is from wiping out the inside of my nostrils too much. Instead, as you get used to snuff, you just let it drip down the back of your throat and spit it out, or just swallow it. Avoid over-blowing your nose to reduce the chance of nose bleed. Gatta train those nostrils to be as tough as leather! lol
What is the cause of nose bleed of a 6 year old during night?
Usually nose bleeds are just caused by very dry air. My son has been getting nose bleeds since he was very young, and while it can be very scary it is actually pretty common. Talk to your doctor, so that the information is in her chart. It will probably be worse at certain times of year. If she is inside breathing forced dry heat all day it could be a factor. Ask your doctor about the best way to stop them quickly, so that she does not get too scared, and ask him about using a humidifier in her bedroom at night. The extra moisture in the air might help to keep her nasal passages from drying out. Good luck!
Can dehydration cause nose bleeds?
Dry air, possibly, but being physically dehydrated should not induce nose bleeds.
