How did the new deal attempt to solve the problem of the grat depression?
The Grat Depression, from 1781 - 1789, was caused by a surge in barley prices, making it very difficult for the Polish peasants, or "Grats", to eat. This lead to widespread depression amongst the Grats, leading to a tragic number of suicides. Modern estimates have placed numbers as high as 15,000. The New Deal was an attempt by Catherine the Great, then the Czarina, to ease their suffering by limiting barley prices. However, this merely put many poor barely merchants out of buisness, worsening the problem. The Grat Depression was eventually ended with the French Revolution, in which many French refugees moved to Poland and worked for very low wages, making barely far more affordable to produce.
Unless of course you meant the Great Depression, which was caused by buying on speculation in the United States. Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal was an economic plan to stimulate spending in the economy through massive government spending. By giving work and money to many unemployed and poor Americans, it would make it possible for them to buy more goods, thus allowing the producers of those goods to spend more etc. The final contribution of the New Deal, however, is debatable in comparison to the War.
(Note: this applies to fairly informal community-run committees like creche or kindergarten committees. The chairperson is usually the president in such instances. For more formal AGMs I suggest you look elsewhere.)
The chairperson declares the meeting open, welcomes guests and members and accepts the apologies.
The Secretary reads the minutes of the previous AGM (not the previous committee meeting) - sometimes these are just distributed beforehand for people to read. They must then be confirmed with a motion, and seconded - then a vote taken. For example, person A says "I move the adoption of the minutes of the 2008/09 Annual General Meeting" and person B says "I second that motion".
If there is any business arising from the minutes of the previous AGM it is then dealt with. Any correspondence for the AGM is read and dealt with (other correspondence is held over until the next committee meeting). Note: there is rarely any business arising or correspondence at AGMs - such things have generally been resolved in the previous year!
The President then presents his/her annual report, which briefly covers the year's achievements and results. The report is adopted in the same manner (one person moves, and another seconds - these people can be pre-arranged so they might say something nice about the report and/or the work of the president/committee).
The treasurer then presents the annual financial statement. The treasurer then says, "I move that this annual financial report be received and adopted". Someone seconds this motion (and if pre-arranged, might say something nice about the treasurer's work).
The next step is election of office bearers. If the president is likely to continue, he/she should have someone else chair this part of the meeting. The (new) chair then declares all positions vacant. If there is more than one nomination for any position, a secret vote will take place (generally though, those in the running might leave the room so that a show of hands can be counted). Sadly, it is more usual that members are being begged and coerced into joining the committee so voting is fairly rare in my experience! After declaring the results, the new president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer and committee members are installed - the guest chair vacates the seat and the new chairperson (usually president) runs the remainder of the meeting.
If there is a guest speaker, the chair will then introduce him or her and they will speak next. A pre-arranged person will thank the guest speaker at the conclusion of their speech (and present a gift if appropriate).
The chair then wishes the new committee well and declares the annual general meeting closed.

How are interest groups limited?
Diffrent interest groups compete for power and influence, keeping any single group from controlling lawmakers and other public officals. The larger the interest groups are the more diverse the interest of the members. as a result smaller interest groups or those less unite people who have narrower aims have been most effective in shipping policy. While large interest groups have membership that provides an impressive financial base, most organizations struggle to pay small staffs. In recent years, however, the greatest concern about the power of interest groups has been their financial contributions to political campaigns...

How many Latinos will there be in the US in 2050?
It all depends on how one defines an American and the boundaries of America. Technically speaking, if we include only the current 50 states of the US the approximate total us population will number 400million citizens. It is estimated that of this future population between 33-40 percent will be of latin American/Latino/hispanic origins. That means there will be a hispanic American population in the united states between 132 million and 160 million people. One interesting note is that this population of Americans with latin heritage will be the majority of young people ages 1-34 years of age), this population will be the young workers and professionals of tomorrow. The white cacuasin population will have a median age over 50 by that time. This is due to the fact of the aging baby boomers, and that they had smaller families then from the ones the boomers came from. 2050 will be pivotal in socioeconomic, geriatric, political and race issues. The population of people able to collect social security payments will outstrip the total monies received by taxes. Since the working population will be smaller in terms of percentage then they were in the 20th century the social security system which will be of mostly white-American recipients will be insolvent. The year 2050 will pit the will of the Latino population against the status quo, racial tensions of years past might have unforseen consequences in terms of resentment. The worker in 2050 will be brown, the future of America is brown. Black populations, Latino populations, and Asian populations will continue to mix with the European American populations and in the 22nd century white Americans will be the minority.
