It acually does not say Diane, it says Micah then goodbye. this is surely a reference to the fact that the demon does not like that Micah is antagonizing him and is planning to kill him. Another reference to the dislike the demon has for Micah is the slashes on Micah's face in the picture.

Spirits have no reason to lie. They do as the are ask. But after that question they are free to do whatever. Most of them just want to be put back to rest. Others want revenge for being put there in the first place. Ouija Boards are extremely dangerous.

PLEASE play Ouija boards at your own risk..they are not funny things to mess with. They contain malevolent spirits, Demons and Poltergiests. So basically-they contain dangerous,scary and unwanted things. They ruin peoples lives each day and people move houses because of using a Ouija board "for a laugh". Sometimes people see weird things like ghosts or something... (this is completely true), and spirits start entering their houses. If you're not a Christian and don't believe in God and don't love God, then it can happen to you. And if you ARE a Christian, it probably won't happen to you but it's better not to play it, because lots of people are really not grateful for this game... It's scary too, and it's completely and totally true. Sometimes people play Ouija, and then they start hearing scary noises and seeing strange unexpected things in that same place like if someone is there. Pray, when this happens. Pray for God to protect you and you'll feel better.

A Ouija board does not really allow communication with the dead or 'spirits'. The board has marked areas for letters and statements (eg Yes/No - hence its name which is Yes in French and German), which the planchette supposedly moves onto to indicate messages.

The planchette actually moves because the people playing, each rest their fingertips on the planchette, and it is not possible for everyone to do this for any length of time without the balance of everyone's finger pressure being uneven and moving the planchette.
