Sorry, but none trustful information has been found. I suppose that you can add about 10 mg of excipients which will totalize 25 mg. However, what matters is the active substance in a medicine.

It's very euphoric when you take it. Well, depending on the strength, really. If you take a Percocet 10, you'll feel the effects after only one pill. But a first time user of Perc's might want to take an anti-emetic (anti-nausea) medicine with it. When you start to itch, you know you're about to be in heaven. Anything could happen in front of you and you won't give a flip about it. For me, the best thing to do when a Perc high begins is to sit or lay on my bed, watching TV. Also, playing a video game makes you feel great because you feel like you can beat the game with ease. Be careful if you choose to walk around somewhere. If you're a first time user of Percocet, then you will feel dizzy and may feel a little nauseated. But after about an hour, you feel just the high. The best part about being a first time user is that the high lasts longer. A first time user will have a high that will last up to 3 1/2 hours. One that has used before will have a high of only about 30 minutes to an hour. Try not to get too addicted to them or the high won't be as good. Alternate drugs. If you stop feeling the same high off of Percocet, change it up and start taking Vicoden or Lorcet 10's. They're different medications. Perc's are oxycodone and Lorcet's are Hydrocodone.

Just to be clear for those who may be unfamiliar with these medications. Percocet's have oxycodone as the main chemical in it for pain not Codeine. Oxycodone is a stronger medication than Codeine.

I have recently started taking Nucynta for breakthrough pain. I also take 40 mg of Oxy twice a day and took Ultram for a long time. (years) I love the Nucynta and to answer your question, in my case.............the Nucynta is a LOT more powerful and effective than the Ultram/Ultracet. It starts working very quickly (I take it every 6 hours as needed).

In my opinion, the Nucynta is more effective than the percs and vics I was taking for breakthrough pain also.

You "can" intravenously inject hydrocodone, but most/all hydrocodone available in the united states is mixed with Tylenol.

If you can find a way to separate the APAP (Tylenol) from the hydrocodone, IV injection will produce a quicker onset. IV administration will also put the user at risk for pulmanary edema and death. So, be happy you are not addicted, and put down the needle.

Oxycodone is the generic name for OxyContin, although OxyContin is actually a time released version of Oxycodone. This means that instead of the drug being released into your bloodstream from your stomach all at once, it slowly releases it over a period of several hours.

The answer is no. Oxycodone is a pain medication. Unless the medication is an oral contraceptive aka birth control, which are forms of the hormones progesterone and/or estrogen, it will not prevent pregnancy.

I would definitely advise quitting at least for the test. If you are in a pinch though here is what I did. (* results may vary depending on how much and how long you have smoked*)

This was a day before my drug test, and I had smoke two days before that.

-3 gallons of water

-1 gallon of cranberry juice (NOT cocktail, the actual JUICE because their is more acid in it!)

-a bottle of vinegar

* You can mix about three shots of vinegar into every gallon of water, and it makes it easier to swallow, but you can still taste it. I took straight shots of vinegar and chased it with cranberry juice. After that ( in between) i would drink water.

Drinking too much water at one time can lead to water poisoning and it could potentially kill you...so be very careful.

Now, marijuana is a fat-soluble drug, so i would probably exercise, and make sure you piss as much as you can. This dilutes the urine.

Drink more water right before the test, and it should be fine, but remember, i make no PROMISES>>> it varies from person to person...

I'm a heavy pot smoker and had 2 days notice before the drug test. I immediately stopped smoking (but what good would that do at that point anyway), I drank gallons of water, cranberry juice, stayed away from fatty foods, and drank some drink from GNC.

If it's a drug test in the form of a blood test, then it will show up if you have taken the oxycodeine within approximately 48 hours of the test. If it's a hair strand test, it depends upon how long you have been snorting oxycodeine for. (E.g if you have only snorted it the once, one the day of the hair strand test, it is unlikely to show up, since your hair doesn't grow that quickly. If it's been a regular habit for a week or more, it will probably show up in your hair.)

According to the Quest Diagnostics website, oxycodone can not be tested for with that drug test because it has a poor cross-reactivity.

Methadone will block any effect that the Oxycontin would give. First of, the RX you are referring to is Oxycontin NOT Oxycontin as refered above. As a RN and nurse anesthetist for 25 years I can tell you with 100% accuracy that the combination of these 2 powerful narcotics will lead to respiratory arrest and death UNLESS you are being treated medically for breakthrough pain-e.g. end stage cancer. Also, as law student I find it offensive that non-medically trained people are giving out information that can KILL. When you take Methadone and Oxycontin which is time released oxycodone by the way will land you on the Coroner's table. Methadone is a full agonsit synthetic narcotic and it does NOT block ANY opiates it potentiates or increases the effects of both drugs and leads to DEATH. Whatever imbecile wrote this has no business giving medical advise especially regarding powerful narcotics. NEVER EVER combine these 2 drugs unless you have cancer with high pain tolerance and under medical supervision or the end result is DEATH period. Suboxone and Narcan block Oxycontin, methadone and ALL opiates. This person got it totally backwards and hopefully did not harm anyone due to this most ignorant reckless advice that could lead to lawsuit. In the future please use medical professionals to answer these questions. If someone took this advice they could be dead by now...unbelievable.

When alcohol is mixed with any pain medication that is in the vicodin family the affects of the drug are intensified. Both the alcohol and this drug work on the same things in the nervous system.

For what? It does work for both killing pain (for non-opiate addicts) and getting over an addiction to painkillers. I know several people who have successfully completed suboxone treatment and are very glad they chose it, although it is still hard for them.

Dilaudid, which contains Hydromorphone is one of the strongest painkillers available, because Dilaudids contain hydromorphone only, no fillers. That's probably why the highest mg available is 8mg, last time I heard. ~Actually the strongest painkiller, which sounds like what you're looking for, is a little drug called Fentanyl. It is so strong it comes in doses of micrograms unlike most other drugs that are in milligrams. The typical first time IV dose for fentanyl is approximately 45 micrograms and a grain of salt is about 60 micrograms. So I hope that puts it into perspective for all. ~J.R.S.~

don't let the suboxone fool you it really doesnt do much, once you stop takin it you will feel all the pain. it really sucks i look AT IT like giving back all the good times that landed me in this situation. its been 3 weeks since I've slept thru the nite.

yes in that all drugs except THC will bind to the melanin of the hair so if for example a red head doesn't have the same melanin as a black haired person and it is the black and brown range that it binds to so the same amount can be given to a red head and a black haired person the black hair will show higher levels.

Oh my GOD you might get really sick from all the acetaminophen in it you got to think 500 mg's per every 5 mg and 650 mg's per 10 mg pill so be care full on these answers. I would say take 10 mg's your first time. Then and only then if they dont give you your desired BUZZ, take some more but give it a full 45 mins before you do take more, so you can fully get the first one in your system.

No. To be safe, anticipate 72-96 hours depending on the regularity and size of the dosage, your BMI, and how much water you drink. Most standard drug tests test for the metabolites of hydrocodone (vicodin), codeine, morphine, and 6-acetylmorphine (heroin) as they all end up the same after your liver is done with them. Oxycodone is metabolized into something different and it costs a lot more to test for it, so it is often left out of the opiate panel. Many probation departments and even doctors are unaware of this, but don't chance it. Doctor's will test you to see if you are selling it instead of taking it. Some of those detox drinks with a lot of B-vitamins and creatine will help mask the presence of opiates by flushing your kidneys and bladder to below threshold levels (but temporarily) and they only work if you have 48 HOURS CLEAN prior to taking the drink and you time it perfectly to the urinalysis. Large doses of water, which are part of the detox drink process, might be the cause of the flushing so it could be a waste of money for the drink. Some urinalysis will also be disqualified due to high presence of creatinine in urine, and they'll make you wait a few hours in which case you will become dirty because the flush is temporary. This is also the case with too much water, they'll make you wait and you'll end up dirty. Good luck if you you only have 2 days clean, but for the best case you want 96 hours and take 100% rda of all B vitamins and drink at least a gallon of water per day, and get some cardio to hype up your metabolism. DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL OR TAKE ACETOMINAPHEN (tylenol) as they are hard on your liver and will reduce it's ability to filter out the opiate metabolites.
