No, bank 1 sensor 1 can not be used in place of bank 1 sensor 2. There are generally completely different part numbers and need the exact one they are asking for.

Look on exhaust manifold.

Most people will try to answer this related to drivers side or passenger side. The best answer I have seen is Seated inside the vehicle, bank 2 is on your right side.

You got to take out air intake tubes out, then with special nut for oxygen sensors unscrew the o2 sensor with few extensions

air flow is usually connected betwen the air box and engine,

lambda sonsors are on the cat or exhaust,

both can appear as an O2 fault on most diagnostic readers

Find the sensor... Usually there are 3 wires running into the sensor. 1 HOT, 1 GROUND, and 1 return wire.

Just short the GROUND and the RETURN wire together with a splice.

to my knowledge thers just the 1.front of engine above cat converter treaded into exhaust size 22.

All O2 sensors are threaded into the exhaust system at various points. Bank 1 Sensor 1 would be the first O2 sensor located in the exhaust system after the bank of cylinders that contain the #1 cylinder.

Sometimes the wires of the downstream sensor need to be longer than the upstream sensor. This would mandate a different part number.

Hence, there would be No check engine light. Aside from the slightly degraded fuel economy, the car would still run normally.
