Black Sabbath has been around since 1968 when it was first formed by Tommy Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, and Bill Ward.
Yes. He was either high or drunk, and he did bite its head off!
he used to ... in the 60's when he joined black sabbath, he used to walk around with his pet shoe... I don't think he still does it, though haha
" Ozzy zig requires gig"
According to what i read/heard, Ozzy placed an ad in the local newspaper, which basically said that he was a singer who was looking to join a band ('Ozzy Zig needs a gig! Has own PA'). Tony Iommi, a former school mate of Ozzy,s saw the ad, not certain that it was the same guy that he went to school with. When Iommi realized it was the same Ozzy Osbourne that he had went to school with, the two set about forming a band, which included Bill Ward & Terrence "Geezer" Butler. The band were known by several names including Earth, but they changed their name to Black Sabbath when they discovered that a jazz band had the same name. The band secured a manager, & Black Sabbath got signed to Warner Brothers Records. Visit wikipedia for more detailed information regarding Ozzy Osbourne/Black Sabbath.
The Prince of Darkness was from Europe, United Kingdom, London

Yes she has 3 by Ozzy Osbourne, their names are Aimee, Kelly & Jack.
Depends on what you mean by 'bad'. He's done plenty of weird things that could be considered 'bad';
No, but he has apparently eaten bats heads on stage
Rare Breed which had geezer butler in it, than they changed their name to Polka Tulk Blues along with guitarist Tony Iommi and drummer Bill Ward. They renamed themselves Earth, but after being booked in error instead of a small-time English circuit band with the same name, they decided to change their name again. They finally chose the name Black Sabbath in early 1969 based on a film directed by Mario Bava, starring Boris Karloff
Ozzy Osbourne used to be in Black Sabbath before he went onto a solo career. The current line-up for kiss is Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer, and Tommy Thayer. The original line-up for kiss was Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Ace Frehley, and Peter Criss
He was banned in 1982 because he urinated on the Alamo.
Nobody can ban someone from an entire city or town. This isn't 1963 anymore. If they do they violate that persons constitutional rights.
Ozzy Osborne was however, banned from the Alamo under State of Texas Penal Code: Trespass.
This is a common misconception, nobody can be banned from a city, state, county, or municipality.
Nobody has cited one law, code, or statue in which someone can be banned from such.
No,but he is always quick and fast which makes him look like he's got brain damage.
You would have to ask her but I believe the answer is Yes. Her roots are definitely in the goth subculture and there are a great many gothic elements in her work and wardrobe for those who know how to spot them.
No. After an incident in which Ozzy bit the head off of a bat (a joke gone horribly wrong during a concert) Ozzy was rushed to the hospital and was given proper Rabies shots.
In school, back in the 50s.
In late 1967, Geezer Butler formed his first band, Rare Breed, with Osbourne. He must have started singing before that in the early sixties or in school. Although Upon hearing their first hit single at age 14, he became a great fan of The Beatles.
Ozzy performed and first recorded with Black Sabbath from 1970 to 1979, then he went solo. He has re-united with Black Sabbath several times since 2000. So there were only two major bands: Black Sabbath and his own. (However, he certainly must have performed with others before his recording career began.)
Many vocalists replaced Ozzy Osbourne after he left. The most popular and successful replacement was ex-Rainbow lead singer Ronni James Dio who eventually went solo and is a very important part of Rock 'n' Roll history.
Other replacements include Ian Gillan, Glenn Hughes, Tony Martin and Ray Gillen.
