edit: actually i think they are asking what the black ball in the bolt itself is for, if that is the case then the answer is to make sure your bolt pin does not come out while firing. if you look at your bolt pin there is a semi-circle groove all the way around it, that is where that ball locks in to make sure the pin does not go anywhere while it is slamming back and forth

There are two things that can cause this:

1. The spring that resets the trigger is worn or is otherwise malfunctioning.

2. There is dirt or paint between the trigger and the inside of the gun, gumming it up.

If you know how, take apart and clean your gun thoroughly. If not, take it to a paintball field or shop and have someone show you how.

NXL mode on paintball markers is the mode used by the National X-ball League.

When in NXL mode the marker fires semi automatic for the first 3 trigger pulls, after that the gun will fire Full-Automatic if the trigger is held. NXL is capped at 15 Balls Per Second.

i would get the invert mini because it is easy to work and it comes with everything you need and it costs the same as the g3 it is not that much money but still a good gun. The invert mini Is also has no macroline and has a smaller frame.
