Pot is great with Paxil. I get all the positives of being high with none of the panic or anxiety of being high. Great combo!! I also thought it was a great combo...pot can cause depression (yes, it did for me) and paxil lessens the depression. I took paxil for 11 years and was an everyday pot smoker for the same length of time. I was also taking clonazepam and wellbutrin In 2007 I ended up in the hospital suffering from extreme paranoia and psychosis. Also I could not urinate!! I had to use a catheter (for about 2 weeks, then I was going normally again) Man, that was scary!!! The doctors took me off the paxil and told me I could never smoke marijuana again. This doesn't happen to everyone, why it happened to me, I don't know.

You will gain weight with Paxil it is an SSRI. They all have weight gain as a side effect. Try Wellbutrin instead. SSRIs are very hard to get off of. Paxil and Effexor are the worst for withdraw symptoms. Don't take a drug just because your Dr tells you to. Research everything about it before you decide it is right for you.

Any position that is comfortable for you is safe for your baby. So don't worry about that. The only concern that if there is any bleeding, check with your Dr.

pain was still there. After I reduced the Paxil to 22,5 mg a day, the Oxynorm works much better and 3 pills a day is enough to even walk the dog again! So what is going in your brain when you mix those drugs? I think the go for the same receptors in your brain and when its gets a bit crowded up there you experience

some sort of serotonine-overdose and that can lead to a dangerous medical

Yes, hydrocodone is essentially vicodin w/o the acetaminophen. Therefore it increases the dopamine levels in your brain producing a more euphoic and more enjoyable feeling than lexapro which acts on the seritonin in your brain. But as always there is risk of overdose so just don't do an extreme amount of either at once.

My doctor told me to take Aleve with Lexapro. I hated the Lexapro though, and quit after two days. It made me feel absolutely horrible. A lot of people do not experience all of the side effects I did though.

NO! dont take that cough medicine, opiate is in it...reacts and can cause seratonin syndrom. Dont risk it. I am tired of these pharmacudical companies making money off of poisoning people

Not sure if you can mix these, But I'm getting ready to find out. I take paxil and vistaril for ptsd and anxiety. I know it's safe to mix it with vistaril, But we shall see in a few minutes. I'll keep you posted

I talked to a pharamicst today about the same question because paxil and stress has been giving me terrible headaches, the pharamisct told me that advil would be alright to take with paxil but if i were you i would speak to the doctor that prescribed the paxil to you.

If you are thinking of ODing on purpose, seek help and you may need to stop using Paxil as this is one of it's side effects.

I have both epilepsy and a type of autism called Asperger's Syndrome. For the epilepsy I take the 500mg depakote. I also take the 1mg risperdal pill for controlling my attitude and help prevent anxiety. Taking both together gives me no problems with them interacting together. Another medication I'm on for anxiety is the 20mg pill Lexapro and it has no interactions with the other 2. To be sure that your medications are safe together though, make sure that all your doctors know what drugs you are on, and ask them about possible side effects.
