How can you delete an album on photobucket that has no pictures in it?
1) Login to your photobucket account.
2) On the center left, there should be a box with 'Albums' as the the title. Beside the 'Albums' is an 'Edit' button. Click the Edit button.
3) Delete the album(s) which you want & you're done.

Just go to your HomePage and edit your profile. There will be an option to upload your avatar photo. You have to make it within the certain file size, but other than that it should be simple. :)

I contacted Photobucket for this (btw make sure if you contact them to check your email immediately and follow instructions to send your computer details or you'll never get a reply)...
and the answer is - the default album cover photo is the LAST PICTURE YOU UPLOAD TO THE ALBUM. Therefore, what I have done is when my album was complete, I chose which picture I wanted, deleted it from the site, and re-uploaded it - and problem solved - it's now my album cover.
