Um, i wouldn't think so...

2If you mean bad valve *seals* then yes. Would be a bad intake valve seal to be specific, is sucking in motor oil and crankcase vapors instead of just clean air and fuel. Smoke would be obvious but for it to actually affect performance it would have to be pretty bad. I'd be more suspicious of that Chrysler 'lean burn' crap... which can cause all kinds of headaches and gremlins.
