Post offices may or may not have notaries; they are not required to have one on the premises. There are other places though that do have notaries...the link provided below is a how to article on how to find a notary in your area.

They should be open in the USA. It's a Friday and there is no special reason why they would be closed. Unless they were shut down because of extremely bad weather, which hit some parts of the USA on Apr. 28, 2011. 99% of all USA post offices will be open tomorrow, Friday Apr.29, 2011.

Unfortunately, No. Monday, December 26th is a Postal Holiday. That being said, it is possible that some post offices at airports will be open (though I doubt it). The reason I mention it is because the one in the cargo carrier area at the Tulsa airport used to be open 24/7 except on holidays. However it's been a number of years since they had those hours at that post office. Also worth mentioning, my local carrier has, in past years, delivered parcels on Christmas day, when Christmas fell on a weekday. So some carriers might (and I stress "might") deliver parcels on Monday, the 26th. However, what with all of the recent postal cutbacks, I find it unlikely that any such deliveries will occur on the 26th (since again, it's a postal holiday this year).

See your local Job Centre and ask for a 'Letter of Invitation For A Post Office Card Account'
Take the letter to your local Post Office, hand it over and ask for a form for a Post Office Card Account.
Once The form is filled in, wait two weeks. You will receive two letters. The first is a letter of acceptance. The second letter is a Personal Identification Number (PIN). Take both of these letters back to the post office. You will be issued a card to use with your PIN. Benefit can be paid into a Post Office Card Account (but not all types of benefit, Job Seekers Allowance IS allowed). Best to check if your benefit can be paid at the first step.

There are three components to the British postcode. They have different formats, depending on how big an area they are covering. They have the following example formats:
W1A 1AA
TS18 4DQ
B1 2JP
The first component is a one- or two-letter prefix for the city (or part of London). The second component may be one or two digits, or a digit and a letter, identifying a section of the city or an outlying town. There is then a blank space, followed by the last component, which is always one digit and two letters, identifying a single business or a small range of residential addresses.

Depends on what size is required. Check out this website:
http://www.usps.com/receive/businesssolutions/poboxservice.htm
My Post Office has three sizes of boxes: small, medium, and large. The rate for the medium, which is needed if you receive a lot of letters or packages and/or do not pick up your mail on a daily basis, is around $55.00 every six months.

It is Postal Service policy to evaluate the employability of each applicant with a criminal conviction record individually. The fact that an applicant has a criminal conviction record is not sufficient to disqualify that applicant from postal employment. Instead, an applicant should be rejected on the basis of a history of criminal conviction only after a specific finding that the history is directly related to the applicant's present capacity to perform as a Postal Service employee. To the extent available, such factors as the following must be considered during such an evaluation:

Yes, but it is at the discretion of the post office. In live in Ontario and have a USPS box in NY state. I opened the PO Box in person at the USPS office, and they just asked for my Canadian passport and Ontario driver's license as ID. I've heard that some post offices will not permit this unless you have proof of US residency.
