I live well within city limits. they crawl out of the stoorm drains and oak trees at night. They are real cute, until you realize they ate your parakeet while you went to the store ... so don't leave out your pets, even when you have huge guard dogs. Most dogs have the sense not to mess with a pack of coons when they have no human backup. A sad lesson learned. Wish I had brought the bird in before I left.
