The drain plug workhorse RV is on the drivers side of the engine.

Not for the faint of heart! For a Combi/Evaporation boiler: Switch off the boiler. Take a reading of the boiler water pressure gauge. Shut off the radiator's thermostat valve(if fitted)/supply valve and return valves, connect a hose to the drain and put the other end into a large container below the level of the bottom of the radiator. Open the draincock first and then the air bleed valve and let the radiator drain. Close the draincock. When refilling the radiator put the anti-corrosion treatment in first then open the thermostat valve and return valve as wide as possible. when the air is expelled, close the air bleed screw. Using the fill loop restore boiler pressure. Put all thermostat valves(if fitted) to max and fire up the boiler. After the boiler has run for 10 minutes, switch off, or so go to the highest radiator and bleed out the air. WARNING: the water/steam will be very hot and likely to spit. Use a cloth as a barrier and to mop up any spills. Recheck the boiler pressure and top up as necessary.

it's better to have a 50-50 mixture of anti freeze and water, this actually

raise the water's boiling temperature normaly 212 deg. to up to 220 deg.

Probably an old hose that should have been replaced. Replace the hose, clamps and the radiator cap. Inspect the other hoses. The radiator cap should release pressure in excess of psi noted on cap, usually 15 to 17 psi.

First use clean water to flush the system then a mixture of 50% clean water and 50% antifreeze to refill the system if you were able to drain the entire system. The cooling system in an average vehicle will hold aprox 10 to 12 quarts. The block drains can be difficult to remove to drain the block dry so if that is your case, after you have flushed the system with clean water add 4 qts of straight antifreeze to the radiator. This will mix with the clean water in the engine block giving you a 50/50 mix. If you need to add more coolant after that use the 50/50 mix.

The year, make and model info would help but generally the heater blower motor resister is located close by the heater blower motor.

The diesel fuel will ruin the rubber parts like the hoses and seals over time. I would drain and flush the entire system (engine block, radiator, hoses) and refill with 50% antifreeze and 50% clean water.

Oil radiator heaters can be purchased at most home hardware stores. Check out stores such as Lowe's, Home Depot and also sites such as Amazon or eBay.

Bleeding a radiator means to let out any air that could be trapped inside the radiator. The first step is to turn on the heating of your home to get the radiators hot so one could tell which radiators contain air. Next would be to bleed the radiator for air and then check the pressure.

Should be found at the lower rear passenger side of radiator.

Replace it with a new or good used one.

The most common reason for overheating of a car radiator is that there is not enough water in the radiator. Radiators can lose water in a variety of ways, and often need to be refilled. The other possibility is that the water is not being circulated properly. I should add that cars do heat up quite a bit in the sunlight on a hot day, which adds significantly to the chances of overheating the radiator.

Need to know what to hot is. A typical cooling system will run at 200 degrees F (+ or - 5 degrees). This is normal.

Remove both upper and lower radiator hoses and run your garden hose water through from the top opening.

It's on the coolant reservoir. Do not open when engine is hot.

Drain the radiator, disconnect all hoses from the radiator, remove the fan shroud, loosen all radiator mounting brackets, remove the radiator. Replacement is the opposite order.

There is a leak somewhere in the cooling system. Have the cooling system pressure tested for leaks.
