Hi,
58-65 Days Though if it has been longer then 70 days she will need to see her vet.
no there isn't there hair is short and doesn't really get that long unless its just a terrier, rat terriers have really short hair. So the answer is no.
Do you mean Jack Russel terriers? If so, they come in a variety of sizes and shapes outside the show-ring, but (in the UK), only what are now known as Parson Jack Russel terriers are allowed in the ring.
I have a Rat Terrier myself. They are known for nipping because of their dominant behavior.
You never mentioned what kind of worms your dog was treated. For hook and round worms an over the counter treatment may be enough. If you go to the vet they will give your dog Strongid-T, which will take care of the hook and round worms. If you are seeing white worms coming out of your dogs rectum or you see white worms in the fecal matter, your dogs has Tape worms. There is no over the counter treatment that will get rid of Tape worms. You must go to the vet who will give you a little pill to give to your dog. If your dog has tape worms you may also find tiny and I mean tiny little off white, sesame seed looking things in your dogs bedding. These are Tape worms that have crawled out of your dogs rectum and dried up and died. Sometimes this is the only evidence that a dog owner will see and wonder what the heck they are. Now you know.
the answer to your question is YES. I have had that mix breed and she was the best dog I every had!!!!! I have been looking, researching in the internet and skimming the local newspapers just to find another. So pretty much YES is the answer to that question. A Shih Tzu & Bulldog mix are called a Bull-Shiht. That's as much as I know. :)
I don't see how it concerns the chihuahua

Although I think Jack Russell's are a nice dog I wouldn't want to own one because they bounce off the walls (although the odd ones I've seen can be more sedate) but Jack Russell breeds are noted for being hyper active and they never seem to tire out. Yorkies are more sedate and little lap dogs. They prefer peace and quiet and play time. The Jack Russell is commanding things around the house and it's time for some serious training with this dog. When you say to 'stop' or 'lay down' then they should adhere to your commands no matter what the breed. Dogs need to know YOU are the leader of the pack and not them! If you had the Yorkie first then they SHOULD COME FIRST! This is the nature order of things 'pecking order.' All treats and meals should be given to the first dog in your home and then your Jack Russell should come next. I have a 4 year old Bichon Fise and a 2 year old Cockapoo and I always use this method. I don't allow my Cockapoo to try to push or order my Bichon around. I also give equal love and never just to one. I'd say you have your hands full. LOL NEVER allow your Jack Russell to torment your Yorkie! Put your foot down immediately! If it's a trial in your family please seek one on one training with your Jack Russell. There are many trainers out there that just train Jack Russell's. Another good thing for a Jack Russell (and good for the whole family) is belonging to a Jack Russell Club where you are meeting other owners and the dogs have a blast racing around through trial runs and having a complete field day and hopefully tiring out! When you do this take your Yorkie with you and hold her/him in your arms. If she/he doesn't like going then leave her/him at home with a family member.
A rat terrier's normal temperature is 101 to 102.5 degrees Fahrenheit (38.3 to 39.2 degrees Celsius). To take your dog's temperature, you'll need a rectal thermometer. Put some petroleum jelly on the bulb of the thermometer. Ask someone to hold your dog's head while you lift his tail and insert the thermometer about an inch or so into the rectum. Do not let go of the thermometer. Hold it in until the temperature is read (about 3 minutes for a mercury thermometer), and then remove gently.
this might be hard but we put in tall picket fences and we hit and give our dog a time out and it works
Rat Terriers and Toy Fox Terriers are DEFINITELY not the same, although they have a common background and some Rat Terrier's have Toy Fox Terrier's background in their pedigrees. Here are some of the differences: # Color. TFTs may only be white and black with tan trim, white and black, or white and tan. RTs come in a much wider variety of colors. # Size. TFTs may not be over 7 pounds. Although the RT standard does not specify weight, it allows dogs up to 19 inches in height, measured at the withers. # Background. The TFTs were bred down from the Smooth Fox Terrier. The RT's background includes Smooth Fox Terriers, Beagles, Whippets, and Manchesters. # Ears. The TFTs must have erect ears. RTs may have erect, tipped, or button ears. # Tail. TFTs have docked or natural bob tails, with a high tail set. RTs may have docked, natural bob or natural tails, set on at the end of the croup. # Eyes. TFTs may only have dark eyes.
