There is no indication that any large number of educated people believe Bob Marley performed this song at any time. The previous answer stated that Bobby McFerrin did, which is correct. It also stated that Bob had his 'own version of it' which is incorrect. The only similarity in any way shape or form (i guess) would be the "don't worry about a thing, cus every little thing's gonna be alright" chorus from the 1977 song 'Three Little Birds.
