Code 1023 worked for an Insignia 22", 32" and 55".

Code 1023 also works for the Insignia 42" LCD 1080p, 120 Hz

(FYI - This code is not listed in the guide that A,T & T includes with its remotes)

Code 1033 has also been suggested.

You are absolutely buggered mate. No one at either ebuyer (who sell Vistrons) or Vistron themselves can be arsed to sort out this very common problem.

To program the Digital Prism 8-in-1 Universal Remote Control, on must acquire the programming codes for the devices to program. These can be found in the manual for the remote or on the manufacturer's website. Then one follows the directions in the manual as to the order to input the codes.

Cheap Universal TV remote controls can be bought at most general electric stores or stores that also specialise in electronics. They can also be bought cheap online on many stores and sites or bought online from a store that specialises in electronics or TV remote control replacement or TV specialists.

I know this tv can be programmed with just about any universal remote or cable remote the onoly problem I've come across is once i programmed the remote and tv if i try to turn the volume up or down the channel goes up or down

Press the button of what you want to program (cable,tv,or aux). Hold the set up button until your button of choice flashes twice. Enter your code (I had to enter a additional 1 to the beginning of my code). The button of choice should then flash once and it is now ready. I used this on a maxent 50' monitor

Remote control holders can be purchased at online sites such as Amazon. It is worth noting that holders are available to hold multiple remote control holders and can again be purchased from Amazon. They can be neatly fitted to armchairs, so furniture stores are another good source of these items.
