An RCA Universal Remote can be purchased from a wide range of local and online retail stores. For a local Purchase a number of the "Big Box" retailers such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy and Target carry the RCA universal remote. Look in the TV section of Best Buy or the Electronics section of Wal-Mart and Target. For an online retailer there is Amazon or New Egg, both carry models of RCA Universal Remotes.

Code 1023 worked for an Insignia 22", 32" and 55".

Code 1023 also works for the Insignia 42" LCD 1080p, 120 Hz

(FYI - This code is not listed in the guide that A,T & T includes with its remotes)

You are absolutely buggered mate. No one at either ebuyer (who sell Vistrons) or Vistron themselves can be arsed to sort out this very common problem.

To program the Digital Prism 8-in-1 Universal Remote Control, on must acquire the programming codes for the devices to program. These can be found in the manual for the remote or on the manufacturer's website. Then one follows the directions in the manual as to the order to input the codes.

Cheap Universal TV remote controls can be bought at most general electric stores or stores that also specialise in electronics. I know this tv can be programmed with just about any universal remote or cable remote the onoly problem I've come across is once i programmed the remote and tv if i try to turn the volume up or down the channel goes up or down

Press the button of what you want to program (cable,tv,or aux). Hold the set up button until your button of choice flashes twice. Enter your code (I had to enter a additional 1 to the beginning of my code). The button of choice should then flash once and it is now ready. I used this on a maxent 50' monitor

First turn on the Dish network receiver, then press and hold the mode button on the receiver until all mode buttons light up. Next release the mode button, and the mode button will flash. Enter the Samsung code and press the pound button. Press the power button to test. If the TV and receiver does not turn off, repeat the steps and use a different code.

Such codes are generated by the universal remote manufacturer rather than the TV manufacturer. As such, the actual codes will differ from one remote to another. Regretfully, Olevia TV's (for the most part) use proprietary infrared frequencies. This means that the code for another TV brand will not work with Olevia TV's. Remote control holders can be purchased at online sites such as Amazon. It is worth noting that holders are available to hold multiple remote control holders and can again be purchased from Amazon. They can be neatly fitted to armchairs, so furniture stores are another good source of these items.

Check Sharp's website for the model of the TV you are using. They will have an instruction manual for your model that you can download. Located near the back will be the programming instructions and all the codes for major brands.
