I recently tried to program my Comcast remote to my GPX TV. there are no codes that consistently work at this point in time (02/05/2012)

Most large department stores and almost all big electronics stores have programmable remote controls for sale. These remotes are designed to replace missing or broken remotes and can be programmed to operate almost any newer television on the market. (The instructions come with the remotes.) Oh, and they don't cost too much, either. Under ten bucks in most cases. Note: There are still a few "hard-headed" manufacturers who make sets that have remotes with "oddball codes" and they cannot be replaced with the universal remotes. Some Symphonic sets are like this. Buy a remote from a company that will take it back if it won't program to your set. Ask them up front about returns. Radio Shack is one such company that will take the remote back if you cannot make it work with your unit and you return it with all the stuff it came with - including the receipt.

You can't. I was just researching the same question. I called the customer service number for ilive (888) 999-4215 and inquired. They told me that you can't. The sound bar only works with it's original remote.

Make sure your TV is tuned in to the correct channel, or set to the correct video input, or source.

A) Is there a coaxial cable leading from the back of your receiver to the TV? If so, then try tuning your TV to channel 3, or 4

B) Are there composite cables (red, yellow, and white) connected from the receiver to the TV? Make sure they are plugged in, and the TV is set to the correct video input, or source

C) Are there component cables (red, green, and blue) connected from the receiver to the TV? Component cables carry video only. So there may also be a set of composite cables connected to he same input on your TV. These would be used for the audio at this particular input.

D) Or, is there an HDMI cable connected to the TV? This would be a single cable. The ends would be flat, and they slightly resemble USB coupler.

If either scenario B, C, or D is the case, then fist make sure that all cables are connected and the TV is tuned to the correct input.

If your TV says, "no signal' than one of the above resolutions should help.

If your TV says, "searching for satellite signal" than you have a totally different problem.

Well if your garage door has a sensor to make sure nothings in the way check the sensor. There may be something in the sensors range so it wont let the door close. The sensor is usually a small box at the bottom of the door with a red laser coming out of it, though you can only see the laser right in front of the sensor.

If its not the sensor there may be something wrong with a different part, so you should call Customer Service, they might walk you through it.

Found that Samsung code worked on my DirecTV remote for my Hyundai TV.

Most modern vehicles have some type of passive anti-theft system. The systems vary from vehicle manufacturer to manufacturer but most work in the same way. GM used to use resistance based anti-theft systems activated by either a resistor in the blade of a key (VATS), or a resistor in the ignition switch (passlock or passlock II). Most other manufacturers use a transponder based system. A transponder is essentially a small chip in the plastic head of the key that the vehicle has to see in order to start. A bypass module simulates whatever the vehicle needs to see, but only when remote starting. This allows the factory system to remain completely intact and still allows you to add a remote starting system to the vehicle.

It's hard to say. Try programming it to another set and make sure the remote works. If it does, fasten your seatbelt. Opening a Bose DVD player's disc tray requires the user to press the 'Stop/Eject' button on the remote or the electronic device. Check the model manual for instructions if that button does not appear on either.
