Hi Scenic owner,
To access to the location, you have to remove engine cover by lifting the front part, ie nearer to you, then pull the cover towards you. This will prevent damaging the cover.
Every spark plugs has its individual ignitor. It can be removed by unfastening bolt size 10mm socket.
Once the ignitor is removed, the spark plug which is inside the plug well can be removed by using the right size spark plug socket wrench.
Hope this help.
with great difficulty and cussing. Renault are the worst vehicles ever made...... with citroen, peugeot and traubant.
i know how to get the numbers up but cant enter them myself !!!
on the stearing column there is a radio lever, with three buttons the centre button is a mute button , pull this towards you until the display flashes, then move the dial underneath to adjust the numbers on the display, when you have a correct number pull the mute button again and it will go to the next number, anso on , until you have all four numbers . this is as far as i have got , i am un able to enter these numbers , i imagine that if they are the correct code , the radio should come on !!!!!, again but not sure!!
I tried the above but it didn't work. This is what I did. Once the radio asks for the code, press pre select button 1 until you get the required digit, then press pre select button 2, 3 & 4 until you get the correct digit for each. After entering the forth digit press the preselect button 6 to store the code. This worked for me hope it helps, good luck
Go to where it says needs service on the the display and hold down the menu button for a minute.......it should clear
The key is faulty or the immobilizer will not accept the code. remove the battery for 30 mins to allow the system to reset.

Its located in the thermostat housing. Follow the top hose from your radiator to it and you should find it. There will be 3 or 4 torx screws holding the housing in place remove them, you will lose water. Pull the housing aprt and you will see the thermostat, just pull it out and replace with new one don't forget the rubber gasket if it has one, then put back together and top up with water make sure to get the air out.
