Things to consider include:

1) Can you roller blade?

2) Do you have safety equipment (e.g. helmet, knee/elbow pads, etc.)

3) How many roads must you cross?

4) How busy are the roads?

5) Are you part of a gang?

It is not safe to roller blade to school. It is not safe to roller blade anywhere for that matter. Nothing is safe - even walking has the potential to lead you into dangerous situations. Fear the world, hide indoors, sleep.

yes, it was located in the wing where the movie theater used to be...also once upon a time where the 2nd arcade (park place) was located....there was a half wall along the front and you walked in down the left side...loved it there...large wood floor great music life was good!

I always recommend you custom order. It doesn't necessarily have to cost more and you don't need to trade out as many parts later. My favorite is a carera boot and always get a cheap metal plate (never plastic) wheels and bearings are the parts you update based on how much you want to spend and your tastes. Get the fastest bearings you can afford and choose whatever wheels appeal to you, but stick with a metal hub if you are going to be hard on the skates. Your local rink should help you order and assemble.

The roller rink was the Balaroue it was on Mystic Ave accross from the old Egg and I. It was on the site of the Century Bank building.

This depends on capacity of the rink and how many people you can have on the rink in one go. I would normally say 200 pairs would be sufficient however for a smaller rink you could have less.
