It depends on the Husky in question. Either the Husky will like it or not like it at all. I have found that Husky's will eat fish.
It is not a good idea to begin cooking it while it is frozen. The fish will be overcooked on the outside and possibly still frozen or raw inside. Place the frozen fish in a sealed plastic bag. Place the bag in tap water. It will expedite the defrosting process.

Alaskan salmon head up river in the summer months because they are heading back to their spawning grounds. Last time they were there, they were not spawning, but hatching. Once the salmon spawn and lay eggs, they usually die around two weeks later.
Yes, Salmon do have fins and scales like most fish (although som fish, like catfish, do not have scales). I have never heard of a fish without fins, although eels have less fins than many other fish.
The scales tend to be small and most fish vendors will sell salmon fillets with the skin and scales still on (although some people think the scales are unpleasant).

Yes, the Chumash took salmon. Writing about the Chumash, Moratto (1984) states that they "hunted deer, caught salmon, and gathered acorns, sage seeds and other vegetable products." The Santa Ynez River was once home to the largest steelhead run in California south of San Francisco and no doubt the Chumash harvested searun rainbow trout too.

Over the last two centuries, dams, overfishing, excessive logging, shoreline development, pollution, and industrial water withdrawals have degraded rivers, streams, and oceans critical to the salmon's survival. Dams and pollution are hazards for the Atlantic salmon on its run to the spawning beds.
Canned salmon is high in protein, and the soft bones in it are high in calcium. Fish contains omega fatty oils, which are good for the heart. However, it should be eaten in moderation. That's because the high sodium content (typical of most canned foods) promotes high blood pressure. Also, some fish contain unacceptably high levels of mercury. It's a good idea not to eatCanned Salmon more than one or twice a week, and pregnant women should avoid it completely.
Canned foods are not necessarily bad for you if they are packed in natural juices and are not high in sugar and salt. For example, canned tomatoes are often higher in quality than the fresh ones in grocery stores. This is because tomatoes grown for canning are allowed to ripen fully and are packed soon after harvest, whereasshop tomatoes are picked too early, while they're still hard, so that they will survive long journeys by truck with minimal damage.
3-4 days in 33-40 degree F fridge.
Salmonella eliminates waste through the cell membrane. It is in some form of liquid and gas.
with gills
Salmon, like most fish, obtain oxygen through their gills.
It's best to use it after one to two days. After that wrap it up tight and freeze till you are ready to use it.
