that's all very well if you go to a school where you're allowed that, but at our school, the uniform is set, with not much black clothing. The shoes are part of the uniform, and combat boots aren't part of it... Jewelery + rings are banned, painted nails banned also. And guess what? make up is too.
If this is your problem also, this is what you can do:
Your schoolbag is your choice. You can go as wild with this as you like. So go wild.
Outrageous hair colors are banned, but black isn't banned, and you are allowed some outrageous streaks of color.
You can normally get away with jewellery if it is hidden or at least not hanging openly, and schools have to allow jewellery of religious or personal signifigance. Come up with a few good reasons why your piece of jewellery fits into that category, and then talk to your principal about it. Nicely. Politely. Lay on the charm.
And don't forget, thinking that being goth is just about the style is for wannabe's. It's a state of mind, dahl. Show your gothism through your actions, by being an individual, walking away from a fight, refusing violence, being polite. Don't stereotype and label, and tell others not to do this also.
Listen openly to gothic music, if you like gothic music. This is a good way also.
Also check your posture, keep your skin clean and healthy, take care of yourself.
Read a few gothic books, again, only if you like that style of writing.

Well am starting out this year 2010-2011 and so far you can go to their website and download a document which states the uniform. The uniforms are
Tops- POLO SHIRT White, Navy, or Burgundy with SCHOOL LOGO (Undershirts must be color of the polo shirt or white)
Bottoms- Blue Jeans (No Cargo), Khaki Pants (No Cargo), and the can both be knee length with no cargo.
Jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts- Must be White, Navy, or Burgundy with SCHOOL LOGO. No hood.

what we do is just alter the uniform a bit when they say were black trousers we were skinny black trousers, when they say were white shirts we were tailed white shirts, when they say were black lever shoes we were black lever pumps. We just alter it slightly.
