Who used a question and answer method arriving at important truths?
Socrates. This is the idea behind Socratic method.
What is water at 20 degree Celsius?
It just remains as water. The freezing point of water is 0 degrees Celsius, while the freezing point is 100 degrees Celsius. Therefore at 20 degrees Celsius, there is no change in state and it just remains as water.
What the producer mean in your science fair?
Producers are the green plants because they can make their own food. consumers depend on them because they can't make their own food.
How do you solve challenging problems?
Challenges require the full use of your abilities or resources. Because it is challenging it is offering you the chance to solve the problem by whatever means is available to you. Look at the problem and break it down into its different parts. What is it asking you, what does it want you to do, is the answer available to you somewhere. Most challenging problems have answers, it is a matter of knowing where to look or who to ask for help with finding the answer.
A Slightly Different Perspective:
What to do: Have a plan. If you fail to plan, you plan to fail.
Personal Tools:
Is define a problem a scientific method?
No.
It may be the first step of the scientific method but could also be used as the first step in many investigative processes.
What are the steps of scientific method used by scientist?
1.Sense the problem
2.Hypothesis
3.Experiment
4.Evaluate
5.Publish
What is part of the experiment in which variable is missing?
The element of an experiment that doesn't contain the variable is called the "control"
What are the steps to the potato method?
The Potato method if your trying to break your ankle what you have to do is cut a potato in half and then stick both halves to each side of your ankle after a few minutes take them off and get a metal spoon and tap one side of your ankle a few times and then your bones will shatter.
Are Trial and error is discouraged in science because it wastes time?
Yes. Blind (without hypothesis) experimenting, while occasionally producing useful data, is normally a real time waster. This is because data obtained from blind experimenting almost always requires a rigorous confirmation process anyway, before it can be used in scientific work.
How are the first 3 steps in the scientific inquiry related?
all of the steps are basically observing and studying them .
What is a controlled experimental group in a controlled experiment and why is it important?
Any scientific experiment you undertake should include a 'control group' and an 'experimental group'. The control group is used to compare the affect on the experimental group after the experiment has ended.
Say for example you wish to test the physical affect of a new moisturizer you recently invented on your dry skin. You may apply the moisturizer to your left leg once daily. This makes your left leg the 'experimental group' [of cells], while your right leg, which has not received any of the new moisturizer is the 'control group' [of cells]. After some period of time you compare your left leg to your right leg and draw a conclusion about how well your product worked. If you applied the moisturizer to both legs it would be more difficult to compare the affect of the treatment.
Who use solar energy and for what purpose?
Solar Energy is used for heating buildings and water, and produces electricity for buildings, also.
How should you organize the steps of a scientific investigation?
you could follow the cluse that are around you.Like if there is a foot print
What is a scenario where an inference can be made from several observations?
create a scenario where in inference can be made from several observations
What is the correct order of accounts?
The correct order of accounts typically follows the accounting equation and is organized in the financial statements. For the balance sheet, the order is Assets, Liabilities, and Equity. In the income statement, accounts are generally listed as Revenues followed by Expenses. Within each category, accounts may be further arranged by liquidity or operational relevance.
Why Should Scientists Use the Scientific Method?
The Scientific Method is a great tool to use for research. It can help the scientists categorize and interpret their information with greater success.
Right now, coal and nuclear plants are the main sources of power. There are currently many efforts to shift this to renewable energy sources such as geothermal energy, solar energy, etc.
The main reason for why renewable energy sources are currently not the main source is because their output cannot be adjusted during peak hours or other times of higher demand. In many cases, renewable energy plants are more expensive to operate as well. As for non-renewable energy sources, coal and nuclear plants can simply adjust their output during peak hours. The wind may die down or a storm may block the sun during peak hours, reducing the effectiveness of renewable power.
What does porpose mean in a science fair project?
The "purpose" of a science project tells what you are trying to achieve with your experiment.
What are the steps of a scientific experiment in order?
1. Identify a problem
2. Create a hypothesis
3. Create an experiment/collect data
4. Analyze Data
5. Conclusion
