Thru week 3 of the 2013 NFL season, the Seattle Seahawks are 15-14 in regular season games versus the San Francisco 49ers. The two teams have never met in post season play.

The Seahawks, like every other NFL team, have an organized schedule, like so:

- 6 games against division rivals

- 4 games against an NFC division (rotates on a three year cycle)

- 4 games against an AFC division (rotates on a four year cycle)

- 2 games against NFC teams who finished in the same place in their division. These two teams come from the two divisions not including the Seahawks division and the NFC division who they are assigned that year.

Russel Wilson played at both NC State (2007-2010) and Wisconsin (2011).

He transferred because NC State head coach tom O'Brien didn't want him to play minor league baseball. Tom O'Brien expressed reservations with Wilson's decision, saying "Russell and I have had very open conversations about his responsibilities respective to baseball and football. While I am certainly respectful of Russell's dedication to baseball these last several years, within those discussions I also communicated to him the importance of his time commitment to NC State football."

I would say the Jets traditional rival has been Miami, but with more recently, due to the whole Bilichek and Mangini relationship (and Parcells coming to the Jets from the Pats earlier) New England is also a pretty rivalry at this time, but historically, it has been Miami.
