Long answer- In any specific case, maybe. People who are sick and getting antibiotics are more likely to have a seizure from the underlying illness, and potentially the associated fever. There is a concept of a seizure threshold. Think of the brain like a pot of water, and a seizure like boiling. Anything that raises the temperature (metaphorically) increases the chances of having a seizure. These can include generally being sick, a high fever, electrolyte abnormalities, genetic propensity, and certain medications. Also medications can interfere with the metabolism of seizure medications and in some people the infection involves the brain, and can cause seizures. Some antibiotics (but not all) are known to lower the seizure threshold, and have a slight increase in the number of seizures, usually a few patients in every thousand treated.

Epilepsy is defined as the tendency of having recurring seizures. Seizures don't "turn into" epilepsy. Epilepsy is a broad ranging term that covers a range of things, but generally relating to the fact that someone has recurring seizures. If someone is having recurring seizures, then they should got to see a doctor and try to find out what is the cause of them, and get a formal diagnosis of their problem.

It is normal to feel weakened after a seizure, yes, weakened and tired, worn out describes it pretty well :-)

Puppy mill seizures are when the authorities (police or animal protection) find a location where people are breeding and often interbreeding large amounts of dogs simply so they can sell the puppies to pet stores for money. Often the dogs are in bad shape. The authorities will take all the dogs and try to find them good homes. The people who committed this horrible act will be charged.

Yes they do. For reasons, I would assume that they would be the same as humans. A few years ago I had a guinea pig who frequently had seizures the last few days she was alive. The same rules apply for guinea pigs as they do for humans, just make sure their is room so they don't get further hurt.

not sure there is any substantial studies...but i suppect there might be some excitatory component to maca ...or it's hormone regulating component ...some people have increased seizure activity surrounding their menstral cycle. their hormone levels evidently effect their seizure activity. Maca can effect the hormones of men and women so might possibly effect those with epilesy. Again..from what i've read...i'm not sure anything is conclusive..just a general warning of the possibility.

REcurring seizures would indicate that you have epilepsy. There are many forms of epilepsy and many causes of it. There are also many types of seizure. For each individual that gets seizures it is important for them to see a doctor to specifically try to identify the causes for them. one type of seizures is gand-mal
