Then in 1993 they set off a bomb in the basement of the world trade center that didn't cause as much damage as they had hoped. Our leadership probably should have gotten a whole lot more aggressive about Al Queda at that time but they did not. Then on 9-11-2001 Al Queda finally got done what they had tried to do before.
