September 11th 2001, otherwise know as 9.11, is important (especially in the U.S.A.) because that is the day when a series of four attacks were carried out by al-Quada. Four passenger jets were hijacked. Two of those planes crashed into the World Trade Center, the third plane crashed into the Pentagon, and the fourth plane was heading for Washington but it ended up in a field thanks to the brave passengers who faught the terrorists.

Yes, the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York City, the Pentagon in Arlington Virginia, and the hijacked plane that crashed in Shanksville Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001 were absolutely real. 2,996 people lost their lives and approximately 6,000 were injured.

That is a matter of opinion. Mine is that revenge is not the answer to what happened on 9/11. Protecting our country and the citizens is the answer, though.

The twin towers of the World Trade center fell after they were struck by two aircraft. The aircraft had been hijacked by extremists from Saudi Arabia. The plan appears to have been directed by militant extremists, such as Al Queada, directed by Osama Bin Laden.

No, the planes did not knock the Twin Towers down. They collapsed minutes after the planes hit and some are still skeptical as to why the collapses happened.
