September 11 Attacks

There are many conspiracy theories about this attack, one states that it was all predicted long ago, because of a famous precognitive who had predicted a long time before the disaster when airplanes had not been made. He stated that a type of bird which resembled airplanes to airplanes will hit two big mountains which resembled the world trade center. The precognitive had predicted this a long time before this disaster, so it had to have happened.

The other theories involved in the said world trade center involve a simple theory (based off of evidence) that Al'Qaeda was responsible for the attack. The reason being simple terrorism. What better way than to attack one of the most well known places in the world.

Others think that this is a government conspiracy. 4 planes went missing, and when the 1st plane struck, the military should have been there to prevent a second occurrence, but they weren't there.

Because of the attack, though, the united states had suffered from much economic damage. Many people died and many hearts were broken. Directly after, the United States had invaded Afghanistan with the goal of eliminating Al'Qaeda's training camps.

Al-Qaeda, an Islamic radical group, who were motivated by Osama Bin Laden. Conspiracy Theorists would have you believe it was the US Government, but the US Government is too inefficient to pull off such a feat.

8:46am flight 11 American airlines hit north tower

9:03am flight 175 united airlines hit south tower

Mohamed Atta, an al-Qaeda member and licensed commercial pilot, deliberately crashed American Airlines Flight 11 into the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. All 92 people on board were killed as well as many people in the building.

Two planes hit the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York. The third plane hit the Pentagon and a fourth plane was supposed to hit the White House or Capitol, but crashed in a Pennsylvanian field.

The planes that hit the twin towers were American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175. American Airlines Flight 77 was crashed into the Pentagon.

The fourth plane, which crashed in Pennsylvania after passengers overpowered the terrorists was United Airlines Flight 93, a Boeing 757-222.

They were willing to give up privacy for safety. Many Americans are for the goverment monitoring citizens phone calls, emails, etc. They were for the establishment of security cameras in many public places so that suspicious behaviour could be monitored.

It took about four months to repair the Pentagon building after September 11, 2001. By January 1, 2002, there was no indication of it every being hit. The cost to repair the Pentagon was around $700 million.
