Where can you find information about New York Arm Co model 58215 12 ga shotgun?
Right here is one place. New York Arms Co. was a trade name used by the H.& D. Folsom Arms Company on firearms made for the Garnet Carter Company of Chattanooga, TN.....which means that it's about a 99.9% chance that it was made by Crescent. If a store paid for the cost of the metal stamp, Crescent would put the name of your store- or any name- on a run of at least 10 guns.

I have had a Zabala SRC Eibar 12 ga and have used the gun for 35 years with out a problem. It has been very reliable. I would classify it has a heavy and very solid firearm. My wife bought it for me on our 3rd Christmas in 1976. It now has a special spot in my collection and is used only occasionally. I thought it would loosen up but everything still seems to be tight.

In good to very good condition, your grandfather's 16 ga. is worth around $ 70 U.S. to $100. U.S.These H&R's are known to be trustworthy, when properly taken care of, and if it is in good shape, its best value would be as a trusty single bbl shotgun to hunt or protect your home. Be sure to know the proper shell/chamber size. (that should be stamped on top of the bbl just at the break.) these shotguns were made to chamber 2 3/4 shels and two others, i think. Many gun parts dealers on-line can establish your gun's manufacture date with the serial #.
Though it may be old, these guns were made for work, and were never fancy. So what?
One of the most dependable shotguns ever produced, and by a distinguished maker. Keep it up, and pass it along until it is replaced by the Phaser.

What is value of 12 ga marixa eibar volunteer s x s coach barrell it has some engraving on metal?
Hello I live in New Zealand and I have a shotgun that sounds exactly the same description and it is a great shotgun. I can shoot it well and even though it is really old I can outshoot most of the shooters on my clay target team with it. Originally I got the gun as a gift from my friend who said he picked it up at a gun show for just 40 NZD, however I did some research and these are quite rare weapons and are actually worth around 200 to 350 NZD in good condition. I hoppe this helps adn good luck with future deals,

What is the value of forehand arms offset hammer shotgun?
Forehand & Wadsworth of Worcester Mass. Was in operation from 1871 to 1890. They were mostly known for their handguns. They made a couple models of derringers, and several models of full size and pocket revolvers. The most popular of the Forehand & Wadsworth revolvers at the time were the brand name guns they made; Terror, Swamp Angel, and American Bulldog.Forehand & Wadsworth did make a couple other guns though, a falling block type rifle, some side-by-side shotguns, and the pictured single shot shotgun.
Due to it's uniqueness, and somewhat obscurity, I would give this shotgun a value of somewhere in the neighborhood of $200. If the right collector needs this particular piece to round out a collection it may fetch as much as $400.

What is value of Syracuse arms co double barrel shotgun?
Without knowing the exact model or the condition, we cannot estimate the value of the gun you have. Here is some information on your gun-Syracuse Arms Company was organized by Frank Hollenbeck in 1893 after he left his position as the plant superintendent for Baker Gun and Forging Company of Batavia, NY. Between 1893 and July of 1895, Hollenbeck had nine patents assigned to Syracuse Arms Company, and guns made during this time were known as “The Hollenbeck”.
In July of 1895, Hollenbeck left Syracuse Arms Company to organize the Hollenbeck Hygienic Bicycle Seat Company, and the gun’s name was consequently changed to “The Syracuse”.
Syracuse Arms Company guns were made in two series. Stock guns were made in the following grades:
Grade No. 00 -Triplet (fluid) Steel barrels (introduced 1901) and no engraving
Grade No. 0 -New Twist Steel barrels with no engraving
Grade No. 1 -New Twist Steel barrels and some engraving
Grade No. 2 -Improved Damascus Steel barrels and no engraving
Grade No. 3 -Improved Damascus Steel barrels and some engraving.
At some point, the company dropped Grade NO. 1 from the offerings.
Custom-made guns came in grades A, A-1 Special, B, C, and the top of the line D with barrels of Krupp, Whitworth Fluid-Compressed or Finest-Grade Damascus Steel. The engraving and checkering/carving quality and quantity became more elaborate, and stock quality increased in the higher grades. Only three D Grade guns are known to exist.
The Hammerless guns were initially offered in 10- and 12-gauges, with the 16-gauge being added in 1901, and the 20-gauge in 1902. Barrel lengths were available in 26 to 32 inches depending on the gauge.
A limited run of hammer guns was introduced in 1904, and they were supplied with Triplet Steel barrels. One would assume that these hammer guns were Grade 00 since Triplet Steel Barrels were also supplied on the Grade 00 hammerless guns.
There is no indication in available references regarding how many hammer guns were made, but it couldn’t have been many, making hammer guns somewhat rare.Syracuse Arms Company ceased advertising in May of 1905, and production was halted shortly thereafter. There are no production records in existence for Syracuse Arms Company. However, it is estimated that about 40,000 guns were produced.
Hammerless guns in good or better condition are currently being offered on a few collector websites in the range of $475 to $900. No hammer guns are currently listed for sale, but it is expected that a hammer gun in equivalent condition and grade would equal or exceed the value of a hammerless gun.Shotguns of this era may have Damascus, Twist or Laminated Steel barrels which are not considered safe with modern ammunition. Even if the gun has fluid steel barrels, the chambers may be shorter than today’s 2 3/4″ length shells. If using is contemplated, an evaluation by a competent gunsmith to determine barrel steel composition and chamber length is recommended. Modern 2 ¾” shells fired in a short chamber produces dangerously high pressures and can damage the gun and injure the shooter or bystanders. If deemed safe to use, only light field or target loads can be recommended.

How much should you weigh to shoot a twelve gauge shotgun?
Recoil, considering the load (gunpowder quantity), height of user, whether the blast is anticipated, whether the butt stock is tucked in tight or not... I would start with saying that a 98 lb woman (no offense, but I'm considering upper body strength) who knows what she's doing would still be standing. Anyone larger, not doing anything stupid (i.e. holding the butt of the weapon in the middle of the chest, against the forehead, etc.) would have no problem.

the gun that is more worth your money is a 12 gauge because you can go deer, turkey, pheasant and duck hunting and trap shooting without having to worry about getting to far because with a 20 guage duck hunting you would pretty much be able to grab the duck by the time it is close enough to shoot
